The Last Dance period is the last time I thought the NBA was interesting.

The final was one of my earliest rugby memories. My dad had friends over and I can remember how much we hated Naas being Transvaal supporters. The final against Natal in 92 was very sad. Pure heartbreak for Jannie Breedt before retiring. It would take many a talented import before Transvaal finally had the side to go all the way.

Ek onthou dit. Transvaal het gehoop hulle speel teen WP of Vrystaat in die eindstryd, want dan sou dit op Ellispark gewees het. Ongelukkig vir Transvaal was die eindstryd op Loftus gewees en het hulle weer verloor.

It's from a local SABC TV show in the late 1980s and early 1990s called 'The Game', starring Gavin Hood as a WP rugby player. It was great! Gavin Hood later directed Tsotsi and won an Oscar in 2006.

@@RealRugby Die video bring maar net weer herhinneringe terug van daardie tyd. Koshuis dae op Tuks.. onthou Phillip Schutte wat daar speel. Rugby en ekononiese voorspoed was die groot argumente wat ek onthou van daardie oomblikke in die vierkant as ons tee sit en drink het. Vandag het ons net die een oor as die ref in 'n af dag minder partydig is. Sensor my maar as jy so voel.. niemand sal tog weet of omgee nie. Wie wil nou die hele verlede onthou.
