I have so much respect for jimmy… and so much respect for the woman and her family who took him in. She took a chance on him and quite probably saved his young life. She blessed him with a loving home. And I’m sure he has blessed her beyond what she ever thought was possible when he became the star he is now. But some blessings are never meant to be repayed. She loved jimmy out of the kindness in her heart, not because she knew he would make her millions in the nba one day. We need less judgement and more people like that woman who became jimmys “real” mother… blood doesn’t always mean family and family doesn’t always have to be blood. Who knows where jimmy would’ve ended up had she not given jimmy buckets a chance

They need to make this man's story into a movie lol.

Mannnn, I don't even care if he gets a ring or not. He is a great team player and a true leader. He showed everybody how valuable he is in the team and that's more than enough. I had so much respect for him. He's my favorite player in the NBA today. I just hope and pray, he will not get any major injury until his retirement.

I had no idea that Jimmy Butler had such a hard life as a child? First of all what kind of mother would kick a 13 year old child out into the streets? God had his back and put loving people in his life. Jimmy you are an amazing person and everything in life that you achieve is a blessing and you deserve everything you've earned in life, much love my brother and continued success. Amen!!!

Someone once said I've seen a dog give birth that doesn't make it a mother. She's no mother just a woman who birthed a kid. My heart aches for his 13 year old self. I'm very happy for him and all her has accomplished. I hope the rest of his life is filled with Joy and happiness.

Story never gets old, y'all, it never gets old.

As a Lebron fan, his game five against my Lakers in the 2020 finals is probably his best game ive ever seen. The man played the entire game, 48 minutes just to edge his heat at the final gasp. His attitude towards this of course paid off and for me, he is the mvp of this finals as he practically had to do everything and the fact that he was able to push the series to 6 games.

This man is such an inspiration.

I became of Jimmy when he came to Wolves, and IMO he was right to call out the players for being soft and not dedicated to winning. I was really happy to watch his successful run with the Heat in the playoffs last year and hope he can do it again!

Fun fact: Jimmy actually has a Bachelor of Arts in communications.

He is one of my favorite players in the NBA, has been since his Bulls days. Plays fierce defense, as opposed to some of these superstars out there who are just as strong and athletic as him, but don't put as much effort into it and let themselves get pushed around or just walk around on the court like nothing is happening. Butler can come out of a game with less than 20 points sometimes, but usually because he did a lot of dirty work that are supposedly meant to be ''role player" duties. I'm glad he found a group of like minded players and coach in Miami, great organization too.

The man was passionate, gritty, wanted to win more than anything and it’s just a fat shame that 3 different organizations couldn’t figure out how to harness that into a championship run.

How can you not love Jimmy? In jimmy we trust.

Jimmy Butler deserves all the praise he can get, all he needed was an organization that had a winning mentality.
