yup. although you needed to know how that 303 worked to make it sound so good. this and orange theme both bashed out v quick and still sound great

Best techno track of all time. Glastonbury 95 Access was the tune of the festival. Good tyms

If anyone remembers Club U.K. in Wandsworth, you’ll also remember this track. Absolute stormer of a track used set the ecstasy laden floor on fire. Good times

Haha! Loved CUK.. We were there the night it was raided, gutted.. Loved it, Billy Nasty was my man.. Drove from Margate every other week. Awesome memories.

Best drop of all time IMO

Access....4.12....ensure you have very, very big bass speakers; make sure your amplifier is set at 12, send the wife out shopping, close all windows, put the dog out....and the cat; if you can't move the mother in law, put Aviation Industrial Ear Defenders on her....warn the neighbours; not in your street, the next.....take out extra insurance for possible sonic breakages in the neighbourhood....sit back and lose yourself in this 1995 masterpiece which hasn't aged one little bit!

I don't believe I will ever see a single track rip the roof off of a club with 1500 people under it again! Utter madness!

Humble guys loved Access in the UK in 97 I think awesome stuff and TOTP would have been hilarious to see my guys on there Lol

The best tune they ever made. Ripped my head off when I first heard it on a decent system.

"'Access' was one of the most commercial tracks that we ever made" - that's hilarious as it was VERY unknown when I got it (as a raver in bum fuck OKLAHOMA of all places)(no other DJs there were even playing this stuff - I came in more from Aphex Twin and Goa type stuff and found hard acid like this from that basically) and I didn't know till a couple years ago it had all these remixes through the decades. Amazing.

Misjah was more impressionant in his pure techno exercices...... "Flawless perversity" on Missile is a perfect example ! One of the best techno track ever for me.

He was right, some trax should never be remixed in the same genre. Access is definitely one of those trax... I listened to a remix just minutes ago. And the originals grit and determination to break thru. Just smashed the remix to smithereens. Access is an absolute timeless classic.

When I first heard this back in the 90’s, I pictured two evil geniuses living off the grid in a cave located on a Siberia-like land...in the middle of nowhere. Just these two. Their song “Trippin Out” is outstanding, as well.

Two hours production?? I'm crying! 😭😭 When i was 15 years old i was listening to this track for the first time and it felt like a whole masterpiece!

So humble but how ironic why it was made.....Access was an absolute dancefloor destroyer when first released and had many a goodnight being of my pickle listening too it.

I remember buying this in 1996, I think. It's still as mental now, as it was then. One of the best.

ESP nightclub in Johannesburg 1996, this track used to blow the roof off the upstairs dance floor every time it was dropped! So many good memories!!!

It was Studio Martin (Bucharest) in 1996 when I first time heard this track. Got me hooked so tight, DJ Misjah was my hero for the next probably 15 years.

For the 25th anniversary I would love to hear a new remastered version of the track. I don't think a new remix would be very successful, but I can't think of anything better than to hear a brand spankin' new remaster of Access.

yeah the original was not as clean as modern records. i'd love to hear it produced a bit better sounding even better. IO did a remix thats ok i just got so i want to do some mash ups between the 2.

Phenomenal tune, way ahead of its time. No one has ever come near it! I first heard this in 1995 at an amazing house rave in Archers Road, Southampton, UK. Definitely a highlight of my life!

Takes me 2 hours to watch '60 Minutes' these guys make access in that time. Mind Blowing..

I was not fan of any particular artists (typical techno lovers i guess) but Dj Misjah & Dj Tim + Montini Experience was the few i follow more close and infact became like role models to shape my music creations.

One of my favourites. Legend of a track 🎧🎶👍

The "Jas Van Houten Remix" released on Tripoli Trax is my favorite banger of all time!

Used to play Access all the time on my Technics turntables 🔊🔊 just recently downloaded it on iTunes 👌🏽

Deciding to play the "Original Mix" or the "KY Jelly Babies Mix" is like trying to decide either to take out the McLaren F1 or the Ferrari F40. Both a heck of a ride!!

I heard it first in the Steve Mason Experience Show on BFBS and instantly loved it.

this is such a fantastic series. the interviews are always great and you have chosen some iconic tracks! I'd like to hear the story behind ATB - 9pm (Til I Come)... it was such a landmark track in the dance/trance scene in the late 90s. it would be great to hear how the track came about from ATB. Another track would be Darude - Sandstorm as well!

ATB is also on my wish list, but since I don't have a travel budget for these vlogs, I can only do interviews with people that live near me (south of The Netherlands) or people that visit The Netherlands for gigs etc. So... fingers crossed ;-)

@@_Scintill8tor I only do interviews about classics ;-) And it is great track, but in the past I looked up the producers already, but I couldn't find any (contact) info. I don't even know where they are located.... Because of the current COVID situation I can only do interviews with people that live near me (south of The Netherlands). I wrote a long post in the "community" section of my KZread channel about a week ago with an explantion what you can expect and what not and what I can do right now and what not ;-) Foreign producers is kinda impossible now. DJs as well, but hopefully that will happen again once this all is over (wich is not anytime soon I'm afraid....). Still plenty of stuff to come, just not as often as I would like though.

Thank you for sharing, i think one of the parties he is talking about was one of my parties. Like he says back in those days information traveled a lot slower, and we were still listening to dyewitness kind of material in '97 and access was a 'great new track' for many ( in finland ). He showed us a new style of techno, that was 3 years ahead from what we knew

Awesome. Twan it’s like you can read my mind and interview every artist I’ve ever wanted. I first heard Access on Oakenfolds GU Boxed 96 mix tape I had and didn’t find out what the song was until around ‘98. I still play it all the time.

I dare say dye witness playing in Scotland so regularly was the main reason for the colab with MC cyclone & the creation of ... The Future. Such an awesome track. Dye Witnesses was really big in Australia too

Access is a really great piece. I know it from Polish Radio RMF FM, late saturday audition named Technical School for Mechanization of Music (Technikum Mechanizacji Muzyki: TMM RAVE FM)!!! XD

Cool video. It's nice to see my favorite musician speak. Yeah, he (Misjah) is very good at making music. But what happened with those Xtrax records was magic 1995-1999. He can't remember the details of how he made it, but I have been trying for 20 years to recreate some of those tracks. Mostly "In Confusion" Karins Paradox. I have piled up a lot of similar techniques. It should be possible to recreate those kind of sounds. Thanks again.
