The Stone Poneys - Different Drum - a pedal steel playing the harpsichord part

On this early Michael Nesmith tune sung by Linda Ronstadt of the Stone Poneys, I thought it might be interesting to see what it would sound like if a pedal steel played the very groovy harpsichord part.
In the original 1967 recording, the harpsichord part was played by Don Randi of the Wrecking Crew.
The first task was to buy the tune on iTunes then find out how to play the harpsichord part.
In this connection I was helped immensely by another KZreadr who demonstrated the harpsichord part here: • Different Drum Harpsic...
A backing track of drums and bass was cobbled together by myself to play along to but I completely forgot about the guitar part and strings part.
As you will notice in the harpsichord video, there is a left hand part and right hand part.
In this video, my pedal steel plays the right hand part as it was the main part you hear on the record.
The harpsichord part is pretty much hammering out the chords in eighth notes which I found was good for practising pricking on the pedal steel.
Only in the middle sections do I deviate from playing the steady eighth keyboard parts by inserting in two pedal steel licks.
The first lick was taken from Lloyd Green's instrumental version of The Bridge Washed Out.
The second lick was one of the licks played by Sneaky Pete Kleinow on the studio version of Six Days On The Road by the Flying Burrito Brothers. In doing so I managed to find an easier and faster way of playing it which was nice.
The harpsichord solo was of course out of the question on the pedal steel.
The webpage here gives more background on the song’s history with Linda Ronstadt.
