In Japan, the schools there don't have janitors because the kids enrolled are taught to pick up after themselves. And they do so without a fuss or a pout. Perhaps Miller's parents should've shipped him off there to learn discipline as well.

Stephon Miller went to my school. He tried to run as student body president. In his speech, he claimed that the janitorial workers were way over paid. He promised he would reduce their pay if he won. One of the janitors turned his mic off before he was done with his ridiculous speech.

I taught in Texas, among other states, including high school. If ANY of our students, at any grade had pulled that comment, they would have been in serious hot water. One kid popped off in my room about a custodian, (she was about 60 and very protective of the students even), and the other students nailed him..before I could get to him. His punishment...which the principals backed...wash every blackboard in our building of 10 classrooms daily for a week, all desks had to have the tops scrubbed..AND the custodian had to approve of the work done because a supervisor could come in and come down on the custodian if the work wasn't done correctly. She showed him how to do it, she helped him get started, and then we had her go work in the other building she did. When he was done, someone would get her and she would come back and check everything. His parents weren't the happiest of campers, but the alternative was 10 days in the alternative program, away from school, with parents bringing him and picking him up.. He also knew that if he stayed out of trouble the rest of his time in high school, it would be removed from his record. His butt was dragging for that week..and he learned a hard lesson. He also never got ino trouble again. I have a feeling that Miller's parents gave him 'license' to do stuff like that and thought it was 'amusing'.

From the WH - Flynn is gone, Manafort is gone, the MOOch is gone, Bannon is gone, Sebastian Gork is gone, Spicer is one, Priebus was gone and next is Miller. That guy gives me the creeps!

The States is at the point where the presidential adviser still uses his high school experiences in his resume. I really don't know what to say.

What I would like to know is: did Miller get through high school and not have a single person just beat the shit out of him? Not him being a target for bullies or mass ostracism, but some guy getting tired of his noise and giving Little Stevie a good stomping? Just like when a schoolyard bully loses his fire after finally getting stomped, maybe someone should have dropped Stephen Miller. He'd finally have had a sense of humility kicked into him. Maybe he wouldn't be the horrible person he is today, he'd have learned that his vitriolic spewing can come at a cost. That's it. It all makes a degree of sense. Having grown up in LA county myself as an Asian American and around this same age group more or less, I met a few Stephen Miller like students and I'm fairly certain others raised here have probably done the same. Because LA county is particularly diverse, some areas more than others, combined with how high school culture tends to divide people into groups there's always a few students who end up scapegoating or even bullying other ethnicities in this "its us or them" kind of mentality. Especially since bussed in students from more poverty stricken areas, at least in the past, tended to be ethnic...there was this particular backlash attitude Caucasian students could get lured into adopting. Most don't, and the few who do usually get over that phase relatively quickly...but there's always a few students, very few, who seem to hold on to that. Maybe it's to supplement a lack of an ability to deal with people, I don't know; but they also sometimes learn to hide it in this veneer of sarcasm and improvised intellectualism. I even knew this one particular guy who was nice to me at first when I got to this particular jr high school, but as the years went by he started to become a lot nastier and uninclusive not just to me but certain others as well. He didn't specifically target other ethnic groups, but he did have a pretty blasé attitude about them, more than a few of the "why don't you speak English?" moments...usually done in a sarcastic way but...you know, not really. Then after a while, he got all valedictorian and learned to better cover it all up, but we all knew he didn't really change inside. It was this look he had that he just couldn't hide no matter how much text book speech and debate he tried to use to do so. And honestly, I kind of get the same impression from Miller.
