Now it all makes sense I’ve seen suffering from depersonalization bad for almost a month it usually goes away on its own after a few days maybe a week at most but not this time because I’ve had 3-4 major panic attacks that put me in the ER. But the last 2 days I felt a little better last night for some reason anxiety hit randomly took my Klonopin went away. I guess that’s where the 3 steps forward 2 steps back takes place… praying for the best.

Hi Shaan I've suffered crippling anxiety and have been hospitalised twice . I suffered most of my life with anxiety & depression also . I had a heart attack 16 months ago at the age of 55 years old and now have health anxiety I don't leave the house or drive . I'm in a constant state of anxiety......it's absolutely terrible. All you have said is everything I've done going to Doctors needing reassuring that I'm okay . 😢

A year ago i suffered my first panic attack, a few followed and then i got a heart attack at 42. I am also having trouble driving and a fear of being alone, but i do push myself to do it, just little distances at the time. Every symptom is suspicious, every time you think about the attack. It is very hard, i know... Currently i am on medications wich help a lot. I hope you get the help you need. Stay strong!

I had severe anxiety symptoms... O couldn't move a bit. A lot of dizziness and stiff legs. I'm on medication. Medication is now being lower ... My symptoms went away but now I am again facing them. Afraid to go out which faded away previously. Also having my appointments with psychologist. Same is my feeling.. the symptoms are so bizarre and I get frustrated. I am feeling angry all the time. But really it's one's will power to get over the symptoms

I never get those thoughts like I have brain tumor or heart attack.. but subconsciously my brain has come to believe that my body has become very fragile, if I move a certain way I might hurt or sprain myself, that has caused a sort of mental paralysis... and I know it is anxiety.. the point where Shaan says anxiety makes us think "if I dont do anything this won't go away ever" is what resonates with me so much. The more we ruminate, the longer it stays, ha!

2 years, I fell hard and felt woozy for a few days. I thought it was a concussion or a head injury. I slowly started to get health conscious eating better exercising more. But that feeling was there for a while and I started to get more and more nervous , brain fog then eventually full blown anxiety and panic. The symptoms started to pile up. I eventually was able to recover from anxiety and gained a bigger understanding of it. Just recently I experienced vertigo. Maybe I slept wrong or did some yoga that messed with my inner ear. I wasn’t worried because I knew it what it was. After a few days the vertigo turned into wooziness which I recognized as the feeling I had before my anxiety started. I know it won’t trigger anxiety. But it’s weird to know that what I had after that fall was just low grade vertigo. If only I would have known.

I suffer from health anxiety around my heart. I’m 19, and have had an echocardiogram, ecg , 24 hour ecg and a stress test yet there is no heart issue and have been reassured it is just anxiety. Since this reassurance, my symptoms have changed and now I have an extremely weird persistent feeling in my chest as though I have something internally tickling or stuck in my chest. This has then caused me to worry and fear this symptom due to how incredibly bizarre and also uncomfortable it is. My mind then fast tracks to, yes I was ok when I had the tests last month, but this new symptom means it’s something new… I try to face my fear by using an exercise bike and letting my heart beat, which of course brings up these uncomfortable symptoms making me want to stop and leaving me stuck in the cycle!

I worry about everything and constantly have a voice saying in my head "i feel sick" but physically im perfectly fine and healthy. I know I do the fives and focus on it too much. My Mum always said "if you keep saying that to yourself then your just going to stay feeling sick" and not focusing is harder said than done. I want to turn that focus onto understanding the nervous system and how to overcome the 5 f's but its easy said than done... because im making it difficult for myself. Im starting to understand why recovery is the way it is and different to everybody.

Your struggling because your: Trying to Fix symptom Your Fearing the symptom Your Frustrated by symptom Your Fighting the symptom Your Focusing on the symptom 2. Have patience 3. Recovery is up and down 4. I was having these symptoms now it changed. What if its something else? Answer: The symptoms changing are just manifestations of the same problem. Anxiety. 5. Then I had a couple of episodes where I woke up gasping for air. I also had a lump in the throat feeling on and off some days during these 3 weeks. At one point the strange feeling was on the left side of the tounge, then it moved to the other side, now it's in the middle in the front of my toung.
