Great to see so many awesome apps for the Tesla! I've been using Tessie now for a while and find it really great too, happy to pay for that one. This one seems to do a bit more by the looks, but I don't have an Apple Watch so not too concerned. I think my absolute favourite feature of a Tesla is being able to turn the AC on before you get to the car, especially as I live in Qld where it's hot most of the year.

Totally agree. Even though it's only 29 today in Melbourne the car got up to 44 before I turned on the AC a few minutes before I was going to use it. Great feature. I use Tessie as well.

The route tracking for stats app is based on the tesla car network connection and tesla car gps position. It does not matter if some eles drives the car or whether your phone is even on. This assumes you😊 have standard connectivity or better on your car (everyone at this point as no one will have reached there 8 year standard connectivty expiry since it was introduced).

Looks to me to be around the same price (on an annual basis) as Teslafi - it also seems to capture a lot of similar information. Awesome to see this sort of data in an app :)

The difference is that this is a native iOS and watchOS app. Teslafi is a web app.

I'm a stats person and this looks awesome. The only problem is that I am on the Android platform (S23 Ultra). With the delivery of our MY approaching (hopefully), I have been thinking about replacing the phone with a smaller one as it could be problematic on the charging pads due to its size. I was considering going back to Apple if that was the case.

Think the key question is whether these prices take into account the Tesla API changes, or they are likely to change in the future.

(Stats developer): unlike other apps, Stats app is designed to minimize querying the car. As such, the cost of using the tesla API is much less than other Tesla apps. So, the probability of increasing the price is much less compared to other Tesla apps

Does the app allow you to unlatch the rear and passenger doors? I am a rideshare driver and I am looking for that function.

@@notacarguy_auI don’t think the Model y or 3 have it. But the Tessie app allows you to do it. Have you tried Tessie?
