Yes. I learned it from The Ames Brothers. The Statler Brothers changed the places to sing unison and harmony in a few places. They even sang it in the same key as The Ames Brothers.

These guys can do no wrong for me but I'm sorry it only hurts for a long time.

So do I. They originally recorded this song, which was how I learned it and many other old songs. The Ames Brothers taught me a lot of old songs. The Statler Brothers must have heard their recording, because they sang different phrases in unison and harmony than The Ames Brothers recording, but sounds like they sang it in the same key as The Ames Brothers sang it.
