This man has consistently remained impartial in interpreting legal terms on various issues. People are now criticizing him because he's speaking the truth, not what they want to hear. Regardless of your affiliation or whom you support, one of Nigeria's significant problems is the inefficiency of local governments (LGs). Just as the president lacks the authority to control the states, the states shouldn't be allowed to dominate the LGs. This principle should apply across all states. These governors are excessively greedy, to the point where they must be taken to court to grant LGs their autonomy.

All this mess is caused by the inability of the judiciary to interpret the laws and make definitive positions on contentious legal issues. Conflicting legal positions by the courts is primarily a problem in Nigeria. To the extent that the judiciary continues with its poor showing, the politicians will continue to misbehave.

How can people in office be working in support of the person that is no longer in office? You expect the Fubara to open his eyes while they rubbish his government to failure, who will accept that, will you? When the whole River politicians in office will be working against him.

During Obj's time, association of LG chairmen tried to get their tenure extended beyond 3 yrs constitutionally but the attempt failed Any extension beyond 3 yrs is inconsistent with the 1999 constitution and a such can't stand.

There was absolute peace in river’s state until wike and the 27 ex lawmakers connived to impeach the governor. Tell me what the governor did for wike to plan to remove him.sim is fighting a just fight and God is on his side.at the end of the day wike and his evil cohorts will be disgraced just watch out and see.imagine wike being a lawyer asked the ex lawmakers to resign their membership in pdp and decampe to apc and they foolishly obeyed .that was when karma took its turn on them.as a professional lawyer wike should have known the consequences of that move but God blindfolded them not to see those consequences.now the ex lawmakers are running around to retain their seats.this is pure karma doing its work.

Come on, there must be a way to penetrate that camp. He should be smart and skillful in engaging people, even his political enemies. I also notice the governor is not a very good communicator. Let people see the value in what you are doing and also let them know that their personal interests are embedded in the greater interest of society. If you can do this, you can get people to work for you. Leadership isn't always the wielding of power and authority. It is also the ability to use influence to get people to your side to work for the greater good.
