Thanks for introducing us to Oscar, I appreciate his views of the Lunar level of the cosmological narrative; I hope you will have him back as a guest soon, and his book sounds like a worthwhile addition to any library, and will be in my own as soon as I can manage to purchase a copy. I am not yet conversant in astrology, but I certainly recognize the basic connections with mythology and other pre-Roman religious writings, though not yet as well as I want to. My own interest in these subjects, and especially the Lunar aspects, stems from an intuitive itch that has been with me since an "opening" experience I had 19 months ago, a little more than a week before my birthday (I was born 10 days late, and backward, and I wonder how something like that might be reflected in my birth chart). My "itch" has been leading me to pay closer attention to the Feminine aspects in mythology, religions, language, and societal structures and narratives; I am beginning to glimpse patterns that suggest that a violent shift disenfranchising the Feminine aspects in public matters occured in the Greek and Roman periods in Europe, as compared to earlier Indo-European cosmologies, possibly partly due to the influence of early Christian/Judaic/Gnostic movements, though I can't yet put a pin in it. Oscar's mention of the Judaic and Biblical connections with astrology prompt me to think of the "begats" sections of The Book Of Genesis, the chronology and ages of Kings, and the drastic reduction in the number of "years" of their reigns very abruptly- this shift likely represents a change from a Lunar (Feminine) calendar to a Solar (Masculine) one- divide the "years" of those early Kings by 13 and they don't seem quite so fantastical. I can't help but be reminded of the story (and Demonization) of Lilith and the blame directed at Eve (and sexuality) and wonder how much influence those attitudes had on the structure of the Zodiacal system itself, and what your (and Oscar's) views on that subject might be- it's a bit far afield maybe, but so am I. I wouldn't consider myself (or want to be) associated with Feminism or any other social "movement", but I see a potential origin point of a sudden shift to Masculine/Rational (linear) thinking and away from Feminine/nurturing (cyclical) thinking, and a stark divide between the two, upsetting the natural balance of Duality and depriving women of their proper role and influence (and men of their crucial collaboration) in Western culture to this day, much to our detriment judging by the current state of affairs. I want to learn why, when, where, how, and by whom this was done so just MAYBE we can finally FIX it and rebalance the Wheel for the sake of future generations. Oscar's Lunar Mansions interpretation could be a path toward that end. Grazi, Ana, my head is full from an excellent meal, and will be salivating in anticipation of the next.

@@lifeastrologer Thank you Ana for those video interview mentions; I did see Melanie Reinheart's presentation of Chiron and the Centaurs and it resonated with me and inspired a bit of creative license: A small herd of them showed up for a surprise visit, ridden by a retinue of tribal Elders from the Pleiades accompanied by an old fat hippie in a tie-dyed toga with a very large jar of fine vintage, for the first ever documented celebration of Saturnalia in Limbo (part of a creative writing/self-therapy project I'm dabbling in - it has to be "born" under the right signs, and can't be told all at once). A rare time was had by all, until the extremely toxic (and giant) "Master At Arms" showed up and rained on everyone's evening and the overmatched heroe's confrontation with him ended neck deep in brackish water, staring up at his antagonist's flaming face far above from the bottom of a very deep tomb. (with a voice of howling wind and rolling thunder): "Eternity is a very long time Gatekeeper, ruminate on THAT while it chews on YOU, fit punishment for your insolence, abandoning your duty, and meddling with mine !" By the faint blue-white glow of Torikaeko (my Katana), ripples on the surface of the water betray the presence of something dark and sinuous moving in the silent murk, just before (BUMP!) my footing slips and the cold wet darkness swallows me, the faint radiance of the Sisters extinguished by the black of the Void...( Dhunt Dhunt Duhhhn !) Thank you for the introduction to Chiron's companions, Neussa especially helped make the evening special- an "impression-able" 3 year old "jester" can find many imaginative ways to use a shepherd's crook 🎭, and he seems to enjoy it more than the toy black sheep he traded her for it, but hopes that she loves it and that it comforts her when she feels lonely. 🥲 The beginner's course sounds perfect for me, I will have to check the timing and my schedule and find out the details- if it isn't possible for me to attend this one, I would definitely like to do so in the near future, as your blend of psychology, astrology, and myth have found me exactly where I am, at the perfect time, like it was Fated by the stars or something...😉

I will check out the website and join the class if I can swing the tuition, having access to the recorded sessions is perfect for me as I never know when I'm gonna be down a well again.
