Worst thing about Yoda is even if you do get a critical finish on him you don't get to see your special move. His model is too small so your character just does one of their normal attacks. Even killing the little bitch is unsatisfying.

Josh Hall We really need a force Unleashed 3 but they need to stop dicking around and make it awesome. The first is pretty good but two is just terrible. It looks really great visually but it is so incredibly boring. The one thing they got right is being able to dismember stormtroopers which is cool, but that's about the only thing they got right. Wielding two lightsabers is also cool but you literally have the exact same moves from the first game, they just look different with two sabers instead of one and are way more fluid. They even have the same damn names for crying out loud. If that doesn't scream rip off then I don't know what does. Not to mention you see two instances of Boba Fett but never fight him or anything like that so it's nothing but a massive tease and it really upsets you that's it's just thrown in there that with really no purpose to serve.

Steven Clark In the movies, they say the Force is something really powerful so it feel so good to play a character that does way more than telekinesis and using lightning. The dude made a destroyer crash by just waving his hands.

You know, if there's one thing I always love about the SC series, it's the graphical fidelity. They're so pretty for the time that each game came out!

2021 and this game still looks pretty good. A few days ago i went back and played some Tekken 5 in the ps2 and that still holds up visually, Namco REALLY knows what they're doing when it comes to visuals

would love to see them use the soul calibur engine and make a fighting game where each jedi/sith has their own unique fighting/saber style. maybe even have a create a character so you can make your own OC to go through a Star Wars side story.

But Vader did bring balance to the Force. Before episode 3 there were a fuck ton of Jedi and only 2 sith. After Episode 3, there were 2 on each side.

EDIT: It seems like next year would be the perfect opportunity to rerelease it actually as it will be the 10th anniversary of the game’s release.

That’s part of the reason they nerfed Vader, they were promoting that shitty “Force Awakens” game. Funny thing is, first level, you play as Vader and he’s a badass, then the rest of the game sucks

12:33 I remember back in the SC4 days when I was trying to unlock Starkiller. I was on my 10th attempt I think( I was like 7 or 8 at the time if memory serves right) and playing with Yoda is quite a challenge. It was final battle and I think I had like 2 hits left while Starkiller had like half a bar still when he jumped off the stage like an idiot. Was so happy that day. Kicked Algols ass no problem also lol.

I remember Lamenting how much of a pain starkiller was. Talked to my friends about this at Hollywood Video and there was this one jackass who said he was easy and it wasn't a big deal for him to unlock him. He had the 360 version and with Yoda its easy mode.....Also this was long before they made Vader/Yoda as DLC for sale (Vader was PS4 and Yoda was 360 at launch)

Yeah, everything is easy when you stand under the opponent's knees but can leap over their heads. Yoda's bs.

No joke, that Vader/Yoda fight had some pretty cool little moments.

I really love Siegfried's armor in this game. His Soul Calibur is really badass too.

Actually Vader is a lot stronger than Starkiller, it's just that Starkiller's force power is insane and his powers are so destructive, chaotic and powerful. But when it comes to everything else in the force he is nowhere close to Palpatine or Vader, but that doesn't make him any less weaker or stronger.

Starkiller's a weird one for me, because he was the only challenge to Arcade mode and pulled all these interesting combos... that I couldn't replicate when I used him.

Yeah, I remember Starkiller being the hardest fight in Arcade. Just rounds and rounds of getting roflstomped. Watching your matches against him, it looks like he actually reads your inputs at least some of the time. Total bullshit fight.

I was just playing Star Wars Force Unleashed last night. Finally got to see Starkiller bring down that star destroyer at the end of the game.

Starkiller is probably my favorite guest character in Soul Calibur by far. So much fun.

SC4 will always be my favorite Soul Calibur game. It had huge and flexible movesets, great roster, and combos were not limited.

Starkiller asked Vader what he was doing because he knew that if Vader was planning on actually fighting against him that Vader was going to get his ass kicked.

Now I don't feel so bad for this guy giving me a hard time.

Edward Mack There was one planned. From what I gathered, it was supposed to be a sorta open world game where Galen and Darth Vader were stuck on a planet together and had to find a way off. Vader woulda been playable in a co-op sorta way, probably also through swapping in single player I'd bet.
