I’m a 11 year old girl and these kids nowadays dont know what they’re doing… for fun i play with my Barbie’s, do my play-play makeup from my moms old stuff, take funny pictures, go to the park and all that physical stuff. These kids wanna grow up too fast but they really don’t want to, they are so young just like me and they need to live their life as what they are now. KIDS.. Growing up fast is not what you wanna do, because you only live ONCE. And being a kid is a one time thing, having sweet sixteen is a one time thing. You can NEVER go back… and I mean EVER, once you are a adult you’re gonna be like “Wow… I miss the days when I was a kid..” And that’s what happens when you are GROWN.. being an adult and having an adult life is not what you want, that’s how time goes by faster, being GROWN.

To answer your question about what pre teens do, I just wanted to say that me as a pre-teen/tween (10-11 years old) who has never been to sephora (If I ever had, I'd probably just be standing awkwardly next to my mom while she's getting products LOL!) , uses tiktok sometimes (thinking about deleteing it) and I also go outside practically every day depending on the weather. I also spend some time on my device, play games, have fun, and I go outside as well! I also have a pretty healthy sleep schedule, also that depends on the day (weekends are late bedtimes and school days are early bedtimes), so if this answers your question, then that's great!! Bye queen!! I also have been a reezy for about 2 years now and its so fun!!!

What amazes me is that there are little kids, younger than ME, that have phones. *I* don’t even have one. I think that these kids should only be getting all of these electronics and skin care and all that in high school, when the bodies ,like, going through puberty or something.Because the only time they’ll actually be needed all that is probably when they are older.

i’m nearly 21 & my skincare routine is a bar of dove soap to wash my face, cerave moisturizer, sunscreen during the day if i remember it, or vaseline at night. sometimes i’ll use paula’s choice bha liquid exfoliant or the ordinary 2% salicylic acid serum if my skin is acting up. like when you’re young or even when you get older skincare does not need to be this 20 step routine with products that equal a rent payment in total 😭 you can & it’s fun to do that, but also it’s important to know your skin’s age, what will help & what won’t. glad you guys are letting yourselves be kids & grow into your skin!! :)

As a 12 year old myself I think the problem is that we’re growing up at a faster pace. Tbh, everyone my age are getting their nails done acrylics, getting Brazilian waxes, having a new guy every month 💀, and of course doing full faces of makeup. I won’t even lie, me too grew up pretty fast. Usually people get a “awkward teen” phase in middle school (Grade 6-9) but me and my classmates all talk about having that phase in late elementary (Grade 5-6) And it’s SO FREAKING ANNOYING when I’m trying to read my dork diaries and being called “childish” 😭 But social media definitely has a really big impact on kids my age. I just hope that on the mist of all of this, it won’t become the norm. (Btw love your videos 💖)

yeah, I completely agree with this. It’s a new man every month, drama everyday, s€xual jokes, 😭. Also wit the makeup and skincare, I wouldn’t say majority of the kids at my school do full faces but almost all do have makeup. I think the makeup most of the kids my age do is reasonable, it’s usually js mascara and lipgloss, maybe concealer too for extra coverage. for the going outside and all, I wish kids went outside more. It’s honestly boring recently, it’s phones alllll dayyyy, I wish I had friends who could spend all day outside w/ me like I used to 😭

21:43 this is a big thing in japan actually! over there it’s expected that girls get valentine’s gifts for boys they like, but they also have white day on march 14, where the boys are expected to reciprocate. Additionally, while fact checking myself I learned that south korea also has black day (april 14), which was created to celebrate singles! I personally believe that valentines day can be for anyone and any relationship, romantic or not, but i find the cultural differences interesting!

Things I often do for fun would be reading, playing minecraft, watching tictok, KZread, and I love baking. The 'Sephora kids' are a group of preteens, and in my experience me and my friends don't like them at all. We mean this as in they're way to disrespectful and arrogant to the people around them.

The third place talk was so real. I'm in college in Korea, but throughout January I was home and it got so tiring on the second half. I'm a huge extrovert and I was getting tired of staying at home because all my home friends already got back college and we couldn't meet up and I couldn't go to all my college social groups and clubs while I was home. Having that third place truly made me feel less lonely and have more fun with life in general. Also, for the Valentines talk, from what I know (cause I ain't got a valentine) in Korea, February 14th is usually when girls give guys gifts and then March 14th (called White Day) is when the guys repay the girls' gift.

As a preteen I was never really worried about makeup but middle school is so stressful I finally felt like a kid again at recess and I love the swings and takes away a lot of my worries and stress. And yes I agree it’s mostly the internets fault but it also kids vs KIDS we give each other standard and the people who are hopping on the trends are effecting the kids trying to be kids, like even the kindergartener for example one day I was trying out makeup at school and a kid said your makeup pretty and under her breath said pretty ugly 😥 so yeah and sometimes we have so much homework we don’t get the chance to go and play 🥲.

I am a 13 year old. Yes, a lot of my peers do the things that were said in this video, however, we still are kids. We play with each other, watch videos and movies together, just talk (and gossip ofc what did you expect lol). We play video games, draw, laugh, scroll in each other’s presence (sometimes in silence), even read. At the end of the day, we can’t suppress our child-like urges 😅.

I went to an Ulta after the holidays and it was crowded. I didn't pay attention to if the girls were young young, but it was evident that kids came through bc every palette or lipstick was ruined. I couldn't find the testing blenders bc they used them all

i really like that you’re quite articulate about topic regarding mental wellness, confidence, and personal development. you’re aware you don’t have all the answers or knowledge, and occasionally fall off the wagon on keeping promises to yourself-but you at least try. can’t say i’ll be able to follow in your footsteps but it is inspiring:)

as a new teen, i just wanna say I go riding on my bike and write stories for fun. but i also do make up and skin care. but holy cow, i don't rampage Sephora and try out all their testers, i go to ulta and by things that are essential to a everyday make up look.

Im a teenage girl and while I’m online a lot, I do still have other hobbies (because of online school tho, I haven’t been able to) but I love reading, coloring (ONLY BIG PICTURES, I HATE SMALL DETAILS), making beaded bracelets, and occasionally I brush my American girl dolls hair. And I also go out with my friends to the mall, and we usually end up in a bookstore for 50% of the time 😂

the whole loneliness thing is so real. i was very introverted in college so i struggled with making friends, and was so stuck in my studies i didn;t bother with clubs. the past year or so maybe half my therapy sessions were spent talking about how isolated i felt, and how while i was trying to connect with others, nobody was putting the same effort in. and then i did something i never thought i would do--my friend asked if i wanted to join her d&d campaign. and i did. six months later and we've met up nearly every monday and spent time together, even if someone couldn't make it, we'd play cards or watch a movie or go to the bar. so what i am saying is sometimes it helps to get uncomfortable and do things you normally wouldn;t, especially when it comes to social situations.

Yeah, I can’t go a day without seeing the younger kids playing around outside! My sister is a “Gen Alpha” and her classmates aren’t as brain dead as the internet thinks XD In fact, most people I know in school are really smart and are try hards in school. Self-image is kind of a problem for some, but it’s really not this bad, (although bullies are). (I’m a very late Gen Z, born a year right before Gen Alpha kids. My little sister is a Gen Alpha kid). Also who’s naming the generations 💀
