I had a feeling the shark man would be the best character.

Setting this in the Arkhamverse feels like such a corporate descision. On paper it makes perfect sense. It's the same developers making a game for the same audience. The problem is that practically, if you consider any other way that making a game where you kill Batman after an entire series where you played him would read with audiences, it becomes immediately obvious that this isn't what fans would have wanted.

Yeah to me it feels like Gotham Knights is more of a sequel because Red Hood, Robin, Batgirl and Nightwing are already established in the Arkham series and it is about them moving on and carrying Gotham after Batman’s death.

The Joker died in a more honorable way than Batman. Joker was defeated by Batman (one of the World's Finest) and died in his arms, while Batman was defeated by 4 C-list criminals and died by a bullet to the head from Harley Quinn.

Eh his death was rather pathetic with him on the ground grasping at the remains of the cure on the ground hoping that it would save him. Batman really didn’t defeat him since Batman maybe would have given him the cure but since joker stabbed him he dropped the cure. But it was definitely more ceremonious than Batman’s since he wasn’t left to rot on a park bench.

Boomerang’s line got a laugh out of me lol

I'd wager that Boomerang isn't written true to his character, it's just that people don't see Boomerang often with Flash to determine what he's like. Had this been any other version of Boomerang, they would've shown more respect to The Flash, rather than Obsessively hating him.

You act as though the actual characters themselves should care about any sort of "legacy" that only video game fanatics like you bow down for. This is an event that Harley very much hated with her entire being for many years, going from City to Knight, and her making multiple attempts at Batman's life. In fact, it's incredibly clear that this is something she's trying to move on from, using her metaphor of hiding it away within multiple layers. This Deadshot isn't even the same one that faces Batman, so I don't know what you're cooking there.

@@inferno3054 maybe I wasnt too specific, but by legacy I dont mean Deadshot or Harley characters, I mean that it feels Rocksteady uses these 2 on many dialogues and situations to kinda say: "yeah, yeah, Arkham trilogy, anyway, this is what matters now even if you dont like it" and I can understand by any lack of explanation from my part you took it as I meant only (and cause the video is about that) when it comes to the Joker's death comments my reply was mainly made after I saw other videos where it depicts that kind of way to use them, sorry for the lack of proper explanation of what I meant there

@baligong3592 Boomerang is the farthest one down on the evil scale (at least on average), so I'm not so sure about that. Plus, from what I remember, it's Wally West he respected, not Barry Allen.

Good performance from Harley's VA. Unlike Joker (who is generally not sympathetic, especially his Arkham version) there is a twinge of sadness for many incarnations of Harley because her humanity isn't completely destroyed.

Makes zero sense why they would put this in a museum. Batman would want the Joker to be forgotten about. Then again this was written by people who probably never played the OG series or just don’t care.

No, Batman would honor Joker. In his own way, even though he hated him, Batman respected Joker slightly. He always hoped Joker would someday find his sanity again, even as many times as he proved he was irredeemable

In the comics that came out after Arkham City, they are not canonical but they give us an idea of Batman's reaction after the Joker's death. BATMAN tells how he dreamed of strangling or killing the Joker himself, after everything he did like killing children.

“Kids show”, while Barbara gets tortured by the joker, and Robin gets killed by the joker and they are kids/teenagers

He's known to fake his death if he wanted to, its just shame this game is part of the Arkham universe because really i feel like Arkham knight was a perfect ending to that batman. If the squad had to keep fighting other parrell universe of the league would they grow more respect and honor for them?

I blame the shitty movies for the constant jokes. I get it is supposed to be a comedic thing, but it's non-stop. I love the designs, story is not bad, but boss fights fell flat. If they had just not tied this to the Arkham games i think those fans wouldnt be as pissed and it would just be wrote off as a mediocre game.

I can’t wait to see Joker react to his own death. Imagine how shocked he’ll be.
