Even if nightwing, red hood, and robin were all there I'd doubt they'd be able to stop him. It would be a different case if all 3 robins were bloodlusted like batman was, as Batman taught each of them everything he knew, but they'd be pulling their punches especially against their essentially father while batman would not be holding back

I didn't buy this one and neither will any further games. Even if GTA 6 and RDR3 is tied to them. Any "muh diversity" written all over it won't buy. I really like this Bruce Wayne design in this game; it looks similar to Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne, and it's certainly an improvement from his bizarre Arkham Knight design. 3:11 I cannot describe what i am feeling right now. Such a genuinely beautiful and moving Batman monologue delivered by one of the most definitive iterations of the character and performed by the greatest actor to ever play him…and it’s played for fucking laughs. I never really understood why there was so much toxicity around Joel’s death in The Last of Us Part 2, but maybe now I do. Except, this is infinitely worse. The disrespect towards the life and legacy of a truly great man and legendary artist in Kevin Conroy is absolutely baffling. I feel for the hundred of developers who put their soul into making this game the best they possibly could, but I truly cannot forgive the people at Rocksteady and WB games who were responsible for this story. As a lifelong Batman fan, this legitimately hurts.

I think it would have been more satisfying if the Batcave was another base used by the Squad to do certain upgrades and it was a requirement for them to return there to find out each contingency plan individually before trying to fight each hero. And, since they basically require macguffins to fight each member of the Justice League, they could find each of them possibly stashed away in other, smaller Batcaves previously used as FOBs by Batman. Could even make it a puzzle to break into each one to add some variety to the gameplay. Them finding the contingency plans after already beating some of the members, while it could be a little funny, won't feel satisfying from a story perspective.

I think that would have required Batman to have been the first member of the compromised League you encountered and killed; it's a VERY neat idea, one that would have worked with the looter structure at least. They just chose to go with the Flash as not just that but the FACE OF THE DAMN GAME because, well, that would have been the most recent non-Suicide Squad DC movie, unfortunately.

I was really hoping the end was something like Batman having a way to bring everyone back but having to trust one of the squad to implement after he died cause he chooses to trust them. Maybe something about second chances cause Superman said something like that to him once. Then when they (probably Harley idk) do bring them back the Squad and JL work together to fight a common threat and the good guys and bad guys win. Idk I was just hoping for something that wasn't this

So much to say about this, some of it is good, the last line about what Robin taught him and how he considers him his son is great, Shark's reaction is also nice, he's easily the most charismatic of the team for what I have been able to see, but man, the way this is delivered seems rather forced. Why is the Batman hologram just open so everyone can see it? I would imagine it should require much more to acess it, like facial recognition at least, and since Batman apparently killed or captured Robin in the Batcave, he should have disabled the hologram, why risk it? Also, this hologram seems a really unpratical way to convey this information, if Batman has been mind controled, you can assume that the Batcave has been compromised, so needing to go there and see a hologram is hella risky, and in this case, it seems to have gotten Robin killed, this game is a rough case, it seems to have some good in it, but it's covered in contrivances and lazy writing
