Yeah. A lot of people rave about BFBB (which I mostly agree with, I think the game is great). But I think the spongebob movie game was equally as fun thanks to some really well designed levels, and yeah, the levelling up of abilities. :)

@@harleykf1 I remember getting stuck in the Plantopolis level for weeks all because I didn’t know that my Karate attack could deflect projectiles. Oh and King Netptune gave me a lot of trouble

@@rumblebird9888 Damn that sucks. I think the first time I played the game I got stuck on the Now That We're Men level (hard to remember if that was the level) because I got lost haha. But yeah, the final boss is certainly not easy. Well, a lot of the game isn't.

THQ Nordic was smart to work with Uncle Al here, only KZreadr I watch who's reviewed it, it feels exactly like Uncle Al should, THQ didn't restrict him or anything, even with some references to the [redacted] episode. It helped reach the adult and teen leaning demographic. I think companies should be less stuck-up about a squeaky clean image but that's a whole other conversation.

This video was wonderful and filled with charm, much like the game. I loved the Patrick balloon and felt like he had some stellar jokes in this one that made me laugh hard.

It feels nice to have another great SpongeBob game after a few years of mediocrity.

For any fans of the original Battle for Bikini Bottom, you should check out The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie game which already was sort of a sequel / spiritual successor to BB and I never hear anyone mention how great it was, even tho it was developed by the same team as BfBB.

Movie game was great. I just didn't like how you'd get forced to do certain minigames after a certain point but still solid. I prefer the "open world" of BfBB more tho

never heard of this thing and soon as i clicked the video i got a ad for it.

Honestly wasn’t expecting this to be this good of a unbiased review from uncle al most people feels like they are very careful so they don’t lose possible partners ships but this was very well done. Also one thing that I would like to add that wasn’t mention that Ik a lot people don’t love, but they are patching a lot of the speedrun routes which has a huge big following for these spongebob games and I understand it if it completely breaks the game but this a lot that I have seen patched we’re not game breaking at all so kinda disappointed by that but also looking on the positive side of this smaller problem they pay attention to the game and possible problems it may have.

As a Spongebob fan and gaming completionist myself, I can't wait to play this game. Glad to hear the positive reception

This is a return to format of the old ps2 games. I love its linear story telling.

I never expected that you’d make a video like this, but please make more of them! This was super entertaining and had some nice silly comedy in it.

Honestly, I would be SO happy if this developer also remade a whole bunch of other Ironhead studios games. One prime example being Scooby-Doo: Night of 100 frights. I fucking love that game!

I am interested in this game more so than BFBB Rehydrated; I enjoyed it, but it felt like they could have done more. Other than that, I'm so happy for Clancy Brown reprising his role as Mr. Krabs; he's one of my favorite VAs, and I was introduced to him in the original Spyro the Dragon!

Phew you know for a while I thought that this channel was over, am I ever glad that we as a community will be able to continue with the hilarious KZread channel that is Uncle Al.

This game was like Crash 4 if it were Spongebob themed. It was a blast and I'm glad it exists.

I'm a sucker for games with really fluid animation, this game looks so good! Also Mr. Krabs actually getting his real voice made me really happy lol.

The only bad thing about the game is that we didn’t had a plankton world. Actually, I had this crazy idea on a dream I had where SpongeBob goes into Planktopolis from the movie where our plankton basically ursurped the plankton of that dimension as the new leader and now he must team up with a resistance consisting of sandy, mermaid man, barnacle boy and that mermaid i forgot its name to get into the Krusty Krab 2 and save Mr. Krabs and our plankton, where the final boss would it be a giant cyborg plankton which was the result of our plankton having the idea of turning his twin into a giant cyborg slave, but he didn’t thought it would retain its free will. But of course, to make a great homage to the movie, our plankton discovered the great weakness to bucket heads is high sonar frequencies so he uses some science stuff to transform SpongeBob into goofy goober rock

Honestly, at least a 8 out of 10. Great game, controlled great and the music and visuals were nice too.

A Spongebob RPG would be an interesting idea, though the "open world" thing sounds vague. Not sure if you're talking about Witcher 3 which is open world but still has progression and some locked areas for the sake of game structure, or Breath of the wild style open world where there is no structure at all, or "open world" as in just wide explorable levels like Mario Odyssey, so still linear but with exploration in the areas. The third one sounds the best to me.

I really hope this game does well. I’d love to see Purple Lamp remaster the other Heavy Iron Studios SpongeBob Games. Truth or Square and the Movie Game are both criminally underrated.

I’ve played Cosmic Shake for about 3 hours (still on the pirate beach level because I’m a dumb baby casual gamer lol) and so far, imo, it has some of the best writing and character dialogue since Season 10. I've heard differently. Apparently they ruined Patrick's character and made him a jerk and the show is just more mean spirited instead of funny.

Space Jam 2 and Ready Player One are not multiverse stories, they are just crossovers. Sometimes they overlap, but in those 2 cases they don't. In fact Spongebob did a multiverse story before Cosmic Shake, it's called Nicktoons Unite. Now there was a game/franchise with potential, shame they ruined it before abandoning it.

Ironically and I just got an Ad for Cosmic shake, on a cosmic shake video.
