Afuri Kara Kurenai has been one of the best discoveries I've had recently. Afuri is normally a chain that serves the expected pork broth (Tonkotsu) ramen. This particular 'Kara Kurenai' shop however is an anomaly in the brand, it's set apart with its own crimson based neon on the walls and broth in the bowls. If you want some ramen with a little kick, then this is the place to come. I must say though that the broth didn't blow my mouth into oblivion like I had thought it would do. I had to add the two different chilli oils to get closer to the effect I was after.
