This is an iconic episode. It corrects a mistake that we first saw Hilda and Zelda make in "Mom vs. Magic" that continued on for most of this episode. They thought Vesta was their mom's favorite child. Then they thought they weren't related to her. The ending clears all that up and makes it right. Very wholesome ending. Of the seasons 4 episodes, this might be the one that I remember best from my childhood

So why Vesta also adopted out till she turned her parents back into people? Weird magic system that your own child can just turn you into anything or do anything to you. Inconsistent as well since I doubt Vesta knew how to seal her spells at such a young age.

Vesta was old enough to be able to lock her spells. I think it was back in Episode 1, when Sabrina turned Libby into a Pineapple, the only reason her aunts could turn Libby back themselves was because Sabrina didn't know how to lock her spells yet. Vesta, being a full witch, learned that skill early so other witches weren't able to reverse the spell, and Vesta, being a spoiled brat, just refused to turn her parents back for an entire month.

Oh Shirley Jones, always bringing people together through scandal. Don't read too much into that comment. She just always creates characters that bring people together somehow.

I don't remember this show's chronology very well. Is this before or after Sabrina solves the family secret and we the audience find out that, as Spellmans, they all have twins and every pair of witch twins has an evil one. I know I should look this up myself, but... yeah, I'm lazy.
