why don't you do a collab with a youtube racing coach? not that you're a bad driver or anything, but even the world number one tennis player has a coach, same with golf and every other sport. you might get something out of it in terms of lap time, and all of us will get something out of it

You're being too harsh on yourself for that touch with the Lambo. Margins are so fine through there and even a minor touch can have a big impact. Love the content, you're doing very well mate 👍🏻

ACC has real good drivers lol When i first got the game as i started with sim racing, that game showed me that i was nothing special 😅 but also teached me how to be patient and learn off the leading car, my inner Ry Takahashi came out and i started noticing what lines they would take on certain tracks. ACC is 100% a competitive game. Unfortunately i couldnt get over that sliding feeling 🥲 But.. this video is making me want to log on later this afternoon to see where i am.

I was about to give up but I bought setups online and the car is just a different animal. On monza, 2018 bentley gt3, 1.52s at a push, instant 1.49s at a canter, best is low 1.48s with paid for setup, still not good enough to win but the racing is breath taking!!

Watched with my infant daughter this morning (East Coast US) while she ate breakfast. She was in a trance 😂.

I'm just getting started in ACC, and the learning curve has been... well, more of a cliff. I have run 1000's of laps at Watkins Glen in Forza (it's the only one of my favorites in the new one, and where I go to level up my cars- so LOTS of laps), but in ACC, if there's a way to screw it up, I have found it. The scaling of the track between ACC and Forza seems to be much different, as the "bus stop" on Forza seems much wider, and not as severe- so my muscle memory pretty much ensures a crash, spin, or other stupidity every lap. I haven't even attempted multiplayer, or racing the AI yet, as I am both too inconsistent, and slow. The "track mastery" has also been a problem for me, as my go-to GT is the Porsche, and tend to steer with the back end of the car.... which instantly invalidates the lap the first time I use lift-off oversteer to rotate the car or adjust my line mid corner. My best laps have been in the 1:46-47 range, but those are usually preceded by (or followed up by) high 1:50's due to yet another stupid mistake on my part. You're doing a hell of a lot better than I am.

Love your ACC content, please keep it up

W camera angle! Would be even better for the viewer if the wheel was included but for obviously reasons you shouldn’t do that from your perspective, I’m just glad to see a somewhat realistic view rather than chase cam or Bonnet cam. Great video as usual!

That Lambo would be me. Quick enough, fair racer, leaves people room, gets wiped out by an accident up ahead. I love this game. I moved to helmet cam, it really gives a detailed sense of weight transfer, making comer entry speeds much easier to judge (for me)

This is the best combo in ACC and you can't change my mind

I think GT7, ACC, and IRacing have different style and feel in the race and it can be challenging to be consistent trying to play all these 3 sims at once. In my opinion I prefer a combination of GT7 and ACC. But lots of people prefer a combination of IRacing and ACC also.

Me too I agree GT7 and ACC are the better combo but Iracing is legendary.

u have to need more time, tuning is key to speed in ACC. Handling, not engine. And better handling = faster

All the best drivers are in LFM it seems (to me). And like tue Lambo guy... Soo clean. Mostly SO hard to compete. So I join some low rated serwers sometimes just to remember where I started out a year ago.

Damn you were doing so good for while. That over take on the purple BMW was nice!

I doubt they were actually any faster You just spend all your time in GT cars on Gran Turismo and your brain hasn't been able to adapt to the different physics model

ACC is aiming for a completely different audience then gt7 is. ACC is a hardcore sim competitive game, whilst GT7 is a more open source for even “beginners” and people who just want to play the game to have fun. Both are good at what they are meant for. For example: I’ve never seen or Norris play GT7 competitively. They play iRacing and ACC because these games are for the hardcore sim players

ACC just 'feels' more visceral than other racers. The engine noise, the squeaking ABS, the road noise..... The game just feels alive.

@@danielhaynes9646 I've heard people complain about how unrealistic acc is for this, but it makes for a cool experience and it is a game after all. If you try to say ACC is less of a simulator because of the sound then everyone should get a weird filter on the sound to simulate wearing a helmet.

Thats the usual super high acc standard. 1 second not completely focused and you lose it. In gt7 you would have won by miles aha

You are an experienced simracer going flat out and wondering why half the field is way faster than you ? It's because there is no anti cheat and they are cheating mate.
