The Enlightenment of Percival von Schmootz is an edgy, satirical musical comedy about the only optimist in the dark ages. Fed up with plagues, pestilence, and poor personal hygiene, Pervical von Schmootz sets out to personally end the Dark Ages. Hilarity ensues.
"The Spark" is Percival's I Want song, a ballad focused on finding hope amid the world's darkness. It also makes an excellent audition or cabaret song for a tenor.
