My work is as a garbage worker back of the truck. Its very difficult and dangerous. Nobody respects us. I'm not ashamed of my work.

It's sad do think about that it all just goes to landfilling. There is so much potentiel in the resources that aren't recycled, but just thrown away.

Don't you guys split/ select different kinds of garbage? In the Netherlands we have 4 types: 1= green, fruit, vegetables and garden 2=paper and cardboard 3=plastics, cans, aluminium 4=things that do not belong in 1, 2 or 3.

Hi! Yea we have different commodities here. Each state and county is different but here we have garbage, recycling( paper, cardboard, tin, metal), yard debris and glass. Each has a separate truck and route.

This is great to see. I've worked in the waste/garbage world for 32 years now. I notice you said it goes to landfill and this surprised me. Here in Norway we have to recycle everything.

Very interesting how u guys load the walking floors. I my self drove a walking floors to the land fields and mrfs here in California. We ether get loaded over the top with a loader or at transfer stations do in a tunnel just like that but the trash gets pushed in by loaders rather then the trucks dumping directly. Cool to see the different ways tho great vids

@@AllThingsDope. Right on brother. When I was a kid, I helped my father move 50 galvanized garbage cans twice a week from the shed of the building that he was super of. Loved it. Using the hand truck to move the cans, stacked two high, then grabbing as many empties the next day as I could carry back to the shed in the back of the property. GOOD TIMES!! Hi! I’m not exactly sure the tonnage overall daily. I do know they fill 11 to 13 trailers a day of trash each one holding 55,000 pounds to 60,000 pounds. Thanks for watching!

Someone left a trailerload of eggs out in their trailer and decided to just throw them out after a day. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There is a 53 foot trailer in the pit that gets loaded with the trash. It can only hold a certain amount of tonnage. So when it’s getting close to being full, the TS worker will have the driver only give half of the load in the trailer. The rest that falls onto the floor gets pushed in by a loader. The amount of waste is insane fr, next time your shopping count how many items you have that have some plastic, like 98% is wrapped in plastic then a lot more is wasted for some reason.
