She may be a widow? I have seen several older women not know how to survive when their husband passed away because in their generation, wives were fullly dependent on their husbands. theres actually a movie called Stone Pillow about this a widowed elderly woman who simply didnt know how to live because her husband had taken care of everything financial and she never knew he was in debt so they took the car the house everything and she ended up living on the streets. its sad how women of the older generation were raised to want nothing more than to be a wife and not be educated or have skills or any independence of their own.

It sucks, but family doesn't always mean you are going to be helped. Seeing this, with today's lack of affordable anything, I'm a low income senior, not so far away from this lady's situation. I feel so sad watching her suffer.

If anyone of my siblings were on the streets, I would let them live with me. Not be in some shelter. I would help them and make sure to not be taken advantage of. But if anyone of my siblings ever became homeless for some reason, they would live with me.

I was a child when we were homeless, but I remember we only just barely was able to crawl out of poverty and that was because my mother walked from one side of town to another to work, plus the need to have another family member/family friend live with us and help pay as well. I'm sure any amount of help made her absolutely thankful, it did for us 🫶🫶🫶

You can tell from the lip smacking and other factors she’s clearly been on some stuff for a lot time. Likely meth mainly but certainly some fet too considering she’s probably still using. Just sad to see because that’s another human being, I don’t want to see anyone get hurt. Most the time it isn’t because of drug use even if they are drug addicts. Correlation doesn’t equal causation. I had spinal cancer that caused me to struggle walking, muscle spasms, nausea, atonic seizures, etc. they gave me medication to help the symptoms then they started blaming the medication for my symptoms while not finding the actual cause of the problem: cancer. I was 24 the first time I ended up in the er because I was in so much pain I couldn’t communicate, barely walk, puking, etc. I was 29 when they found the eight inch tumor in my spinal cord and gave me six months to live. Biases are ignorant and should be put in the trash where they belong because they are deadly stupid.

She needs someone everyday all day she needs someone to give her a home whether it's a garage or a tent in your backyard or an extra room in your house and you give her the rules before she moves in you can even have her sign a paper. I didn't have people sign papers when I took homeless people into my home but I did have the McGray before they came into my home that there would be no smoking no drinking no drugs no marijuana and that they would not harm anyone or anything and if they had a problem with any of that to come and talk to me immediately.

Especially in California. When I was young 60 years ago, you never saw homeless people. Not unless it was runaway kids and men who were fleeing the draft. Normal countries don't have large populations of homeless citizens !

Imagine how many people have an extra room they're not using. There is no reason for this woman to be on streets. But I will admit that if I had a spare room, I wouldn't probably be the first to offer it up either. The point is that there are many ways to fix this. I saw someone who makes tiny homes for the homeless. County/city could offer up some land somewhere and streamline the building of small tiny homes.

Everyone who commented such sweet heartfelt comments........you are helping me to heal.....I have tears....I have finally gotten an apartment and have been off the streets for nearly 4 months. I am 63, and after 12 years of no way to get off the streets I tried 3 years solid ....they all said sorry no funds or passed me off to somewhere else. I was so stigmatized by the community here and especially by those who work for a particular shelter I was in for the last 14 months. Eventually I got housing but discovered now that I am out of survival mode I was so sad and angry because I know the beliefs almost everyone has about those who lost everything and I could not understand how anyone could be mean and insulted by another human being. Over and over again. I get it because I learned what caused a lot of that. It's a long story but the best thing and why I wrote this is because I really wanted to say the most... "EVERYTHING THAT EVERYONE OF YOU COMMENTED THANK YOU THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR HAVING SUCH WARM LOVING COMPASSIONATE HEARTS.......ALL OF YOU GIVE SO MUCH HOPE AND HEALING TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON YOU SHOW SOME KINDNEẞS TOO. I PRAY THIS CATCHES ON..,WE ARE TRULY CONNECTED. Homeless people have explained to me how they feel faceless and nameless when on the streets and are always on guard against danger, they even feel like they’ve lost their humanity. I am not a doctor but I believe that you helped save this sweet woman's life. She looks like she is seriously dehydrated and malnourished. She started eating immediately when you gave her the food. What a great person! It's so nice to see people helping each other. We take everything we have for granted. It's humbling when you see someone so appreciative of getting standard items we don't think twice about. If we could all just do something small, we can change so many lives for the better. It's terribly sad to see people living on the streets without a house and food to eat. The USA should have enough money to end this crisis. If only rich people, corporations, etc, would pay their fair share of taxes like they should, we would have more than enough money to get these people off the streets.

She’s so sweet. I wish I had enough money to set her up in a senior center so she would always have three square meals a day and a safe and warm place to sleep at night. I have seen several older women not know how to survive when their husband passed away because in their generation, wives were fullly dependent on their husbands. theres actually a movie called Stone Pillow about this a widowed elderly woman who simply didnt know how to live because her husband had taken care of everything financial and she never knew he was in debt so they took the car the house everything and she ended up living on the streets. its sad how women of the older generation were raised to want nothing more than to be a wife and not be educated or have skills or any independence of their own.

She is so thin she could fall. I am glad she has a relationship with you and trusted you to help her. I am so worried about the homeless. If anyone of my siblings were on the streets, I would let them live with me. Not be in some shelter. I would help them and make sure to not be taken advantage of. But if anyone of my siblings ever became homeless for some reason, they would live with me.

I was a child when we were homeless, but I remember we only just barely was able to crawl out of poverty and that was because my mother walked from one side of town to another to work, plus the need to have another family member/family friend live with us and help pay as well. I'm sure any amount of help made her absolutely thankful, it did for us 🫶🫶🫶

I’m so distressed to see a senior living in the streets. Life is so hard for Americans. Yet, Government flies in immigrants, churches open their doors for shelter, thousands have cell phones from gov… but nothing for this lady. Our gov is truly against us.

You can tell from the lip smacking and other factors she’s clearly been on some stuff for a lot time. Likely meth mainly but certainly some fet too considering she’s probably still using. Most the time it isn’t because of drug use even if they are drug addicts. Correlation doesn’t equal causation. I had spinal cancer that caused me to struggle walking, muscle spasms, nausea, atonic seizures, etc. they gave me medication to help the symptoms then they started blaming the medication for my symptoms while not finding the actual cause of the problem: cancer. I was 24 the first time I ended up in the er because I was in so much pain I couldn’t communicate, barely walk, puking, etc. I was 29 when they found the eight inch tumor in my spinal cord and gave me six months to live. Biases are ignorant and should be put in the trash where they belong because they are deadly stupid.

She needs someone everyday all day she needs someone to give her a home whether it's a garage or a tent in your backyard or an extra room in your house and you give her the rules before she moves in you can even have her sign a paper. I didn't have people sign papers when I took homeless people into my home but I did have the McGray before they came into my home that there would be no smoking no drinking no drugs no marijuana and that they would not harm anyone or anything and if they had a problem with any of that to come and talk to me immediately.
She is so sweet, she is a ray of sunshine, and I appreciate the things she asked for. It was really stuff to keep her cool in the heat and stay hydrated. Good choices mama I’m so proud of her and her ability to be so kind

@@calebmanders6696 With this short video,it's hard to tell- one thing is certain, the rent s everywhere in this country are just too high, because there's a permanent housing shortage,when it comes to apartments and small houses, which used to be EVERYWHERE. Especially in California. When I was young 60 years ago, you never saw homeless people. Not unless it was runaway kids and men who were fleeing the draft. Normal countries don't have large populations of homeless citizens !

Imagine how many people have an extra room they're not using. There is no reason for this woman to be on streets. But I will admit that if I had a spare room, I wouldn't probably be the first to offer it up either. The point is that there are many ways to fix this. I saw someone who makes tiny homes for the homeless. County/city could offer up some land somewhere and streamline the building of small tiny homes.
All I’m going to say is this world needs more people like you helping people who are homeless and hit rock bottom 👍

Everyone who commented such sweet heartfelt comments........you are helping me to heal.....I have tears....I have finally gotten an apartment and have been off the streets for nearly 4 months. I am 63, and after 12 years of no way to get off the streets I tried 3 years solid ....they all said sorry no funds or passed me off to somewhere else. I was so stigmatized by the community here and especially by those who work for a particular shelter I was in for the last 14 months. Eventually I got housing but discovered now that I am out of survival mode I was so sad and angry because I know the beliefs almost everyone has about those who lost everything and I could not understand how anyone could be mean and insulted by another human being. Over and over again. I get it because I learned what caused a lot of that. It's a long story but the best thing and why I wrote this is because I really wanted to say the most... "EVERYTHING THAT EVERYONE OF YOU COMMENTED THANK YOU THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR HAVING SUCH WARM LOVING COMPASSIONATE HEARTS.......ALL OF YOU GIVE SO MUCH HOPE AND HEALING TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON YOU SHOW SOME KINDNEẞS TOO. I PRAY THIS CATCHES ON..,WE ARE TRULY CONNECTED. Hi Isabel, when I read your post I felt so sad because of what you experienced on the street. Homeless people have explained to me how they feel faceless and nameless when on the streets and are always on guard against danger, they even feel like they’ve lost their humanity. I’m middle aged and I don’t know how you coped, I’m so pleased that you now have a home to call your own. I wish you peace and happiness, Mary.

Her hair looks great with the cool tie & her dress is gorgeous. What a lady'. Then I saw your comment so I'm writing to you direct. Will you p,ease consider finding a church full of happy clappy arm lifting people who believe in & worship the Lord Jesus Christ..tell them you want to know about salvation please. Thank you Knate and all that help him. Knate remembered Gatorade. I can't believe people not helping her . Some places sell the sun umbrellas. Knate always finds stuff people need and he has good taste too. ✌️💕

I am not a doctor but I believe that you helped save this sweet woman's life. She looks like she is seriously dehydrated and malnourished. She started eating immediately when you gave her the food. I am having a terrible time right now, financially and I have many health issues including lung cancer but if I ever have extra cash it will be for you. God bless you for all you do to help people that are in need you have a heart of gold. God bless all the people in need, maybe somehow the government will help. Love you Knate

If she wasn't eating for days that could be extremely dangerous to just start eating alot of food like that.

What a great person! It's so nice to see people helping each other. We take everything we have for granted. It's humbling when you see someone so appreciative of getting standard items we don't think twice about. If we could all just do something small, we can change so many lives for the better. It's terribly sad to see people living on the streets without a house and food to eat. The USA should have enough money to end this crisis. If only rich people, corporations, etc, would pay their fair share of taxes like they should, we would have more than enough money to get these people off the streets.

I work with the elderly and this is just heartbreaking. Your country needs to fix this, it is unacceptable to leave a frail old person out on the street like this. The man who made this video is a saint, what a kind wonderful soul helping her out like he did.🥰 God bless you.

And even if you're not able to do that, it's ok. Just wishing you could help and caring about others is important. He's able to do what he does from donations, and he is amazing at it!

and this is how america treats our seniors. we all have to grow old. i thank god my grandparents and my mom had me to take care of them, and i pray my son does the same for me. this young man will always be blessed. i pray for this lady, god will always be with her

She’s so sweet. I wish I had enough money to set her up in a senior center so she would always have three square meals a day and a safe and warm place to sleep at night.
