The absolute best ending in this show was "Soprano Home Movies." Bobby holding his daughter looking out over the lake to the song, "This Magic Moment" is haunting if you think about what just happened to Bobby. And the foreshadowing of what's going to happen to Bobby and Tony in the last episode.

I never paid much attention to Keith's songs on Rolling Stones and always thought his 2 or 3 songs during their concerts as time for Mick to take a break. But when his song showed up on The Sopranos, it gave me a better appreciation for his singing abilities.

One of mine also. What about “I Saved The World Today” in “Knight In White Satin Armor”, the episode that had Janet killing Richie Aprile?

I don't think any show, before or since, has paired music with moving visuals and come up with such cerebrally and emotionally affecting results as The Sopranos did. David Chase and his phenomenal creative team were incredible in their choice of music for the series. And no small feat either. Not only did they have to score a scene in a way that perfectly accents or reinforces the emotions, plot, and atmosphere trying to be conveyed on screen, but they also had to negotiate the often complicated legal rights intractable with using another artist's copyrighted music in commercial work. And yet, despite the great difficulties inherent in scoring, not a single miss in music selection during the entire 6-season run. An absolute masterclass in sophisticated televisual storytelling, this show was!

It's perfect - Tony does so much to make ammends as a person that episode - dumps his goomah for Carmella, helps Janice clean up the Richie mess. But in the end, he sits alone in the house. Unable to be happy. Literal chills first I watched it

Every time i hear Journey and Dont Stop Believin, i automatically think of that final scene. Did that guy going to the toilet,leave a bomb? Was Tony poisoned? Did they all go home after their meal to find the boiler had broken down? We should be put out of our misery.

I like to think that that guy who went to the bathroom was Tony's hitman and that, just as he was coming back to blast Tony, Meadow walked in and saw it and screamed "Dad!" just in time for Tony to react and save himself in an epic scene like when the black dudes tried to get him in his car. Tony lives. Don't stop believin'

Personal favorite that didn’t make it into the video: when Paulie visits Christopher and Chrissy talks about how he doesn’t have an arc, and Paulie calms him down. There’s this jazz song in the background that fits perfectly, and jazz isn’t used pretty much anywhere else in the show.

when This Magic Moment starts playing & Bobby grabs his daughter who’s running towards him.

Two that jump to mind for me are : 1) Nobody Loves Me But You by Dori Hartley from S1E10 "A Hit Is a Hit". 2) Little Bird by Annie Lennox from S04E12 "Eloise".

I thought Evidently Chicketown had the best usage. It has an oddly sinister sound to it and it comes in at one of the best scenes of the show and closes out during another big scene that foreshadows that things are soon to down spiral
