Memorable scenes of The Sopranos TV Series. It was more than 2 years when James Gandolfini passed away. I miss The Sopranos, I miss Tony Soprano, and I miss James Gandolfini so much.
Sometimes it's good to come back here, and watch his greatest scenes over and over again. He was a very talented and fascinating actor. I hope these videos help to keep his memory
alive.

Anyone whose been around would know if there was a nice restaurant like that and some husky well dressed Italian walks up to you and says something, it's a good idea to listen lol. He looked like he owned the restaurant, and there's owners that would risk a scene just to make their point.

This guy gets around, I see him on a few random YT comment sections. Also makes really good tutorial, tips and tricks etc. vids about GTA online. I used to use em when I got addicted to GTA online for most of last year. He's one of those types of YT'ers that aren't cringe, over the top in your face douche bags, no dramatic bs in his video, his guides are straight to the point, concise, clear and informative. Now I sound like him self promoting himself on an alt account lmao but just showing appreciation because I love YT'ers like him, they're a rare breed. Just realized I'm not subbed to him too, well there's a mistake I just had to rectify.

After watching this scene a couple more times, something that stands out to me is how significant this scene is for Artie too. Artie always envied the strength Tony effortless projects. This is one of those moments that really makes Artie dissatisfied with his own life even though he shouldn't be. We can really see this starting to take root in Artie's mind here and knowing how this poisonous thought develops inside him, it's just another example of how Tony's way of life corrupts and destroys everything around him.

Just like Joe Pesci said in Casino: "I don't give a f@ck about going to jail, that's my business" as he threatened the banker's life if he wasn't going to give him back the money he lost on his investment.

I think this was done intentionally .. casting a kid with a very full head of hair. Otherwise the focus of the scene -- that Tony, who murders people for a living should be concerned with social improprieties -- would be lost. Instead the viewer would concentrate on the possibility that the guy is just self-conscious about his lack of hair (something that Tony and Artie could likely relate to.)

Constantly teetering on being unbalanced in either direction at all times. Every character was an angel or a demon on his shoulders. And most were both at some points. Hands down best character from material to the portrayal.

He realised that affronted or not, this was NOT a hill that he was prepared to die on......and added kudos for also realising that he may have had to "literally" die, given the intensity of the stare-down he was getting from the big guy standing before him. You pick your battles......and this was one that he was VERY wise to concede....resulting in nought but a slightly bruised ego.

The thing is tony doesn’t believe his line of work is unethical. He is a true libertarian capitalist in believing in a free market. That includes selling drugs guns or gambling. There is no rules that will stop him from doing that. But there are social norms, etiquette, and ethics that a person must carry out in social settings as a sign of respect. Respect is important. He lives by the rule of mind your own business and respect of others so that everyone can carry on with their everyday lives

one of the most iconic scenes in the series. the way he sets the expectation to a nobody... dude gets snippy, and with one cold stare.... gets put in his place....then boss man turns around and sends them some love afterwards. it’s like a “Hey....don’t be embarrassed, have a drink.” true mafioso

That wasn’t showing him love. That was tony flexing and establishing his alpha male dominance by first asking how the guys date was doing in a flirtatious tone. Then sending a bottle of what I assume was expensive alcohol to them showing he was a boss and has so much money and power that he can just order and give away a expensive things, and can also afford to have you clipped.

Being much too young to watch this when it originally aired, I caught this show in my adulthood when I could truly appreciate it for what it was and has jumped to the top of some of the most respected works of art I’ve ever witnessed. I was a big fan growing up of Italian gangster films, like "The Godfather" (1972) or “Goodfellas” (1990), so it never made any sense why it took me so long to get around to this one. As a kid I remember seeing glimpses of it on TV, in particular, one of the most violent scenes I could could’ve witness and that’s where I learned what ‘curb stomping’ meant. James Gandolfini took my heart away with this show! I could’ve watched that man perform for hours straight! I wish we could’ve seen more of Gandolfini before he passed, but I’m thankful for what he gave us and am continually inspired by his work and dedication to character. 'Tony Soprano' has outweighed all my favorite on-screen gangsters, but maybe that’s because we got to live with him for so long over the course of 86 hour long episodes. That’s over 5,000 hours of 'Tony Soprano'. Compared to the normal 2-3 we get in films. We got the day in the life, the intimate, the little moments, the humanity of a ‘gangster’ and getting to see more inside the mind of him. Speaking of inside the mind of him, Lorraine Bracco is the mastermind therapist who allows us to get inside the head of mob boss 'Tony Soprano'. It’s one of my favorite elements of the show, breaking down the toughest of the tough and we get a therapy session almost every episode. It’s the heart of the show. It’s the heart of 'Tony Soprano' we get to see in there. Bracco’s been stuck in my mind ever since I saw her in Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” (1990) and was so pleased to see she was a regular on “The Sopranos” (1999-2007). It makes all the meta-references in the show to “Goodfellas” (1990) all the more enjoyable! There’s more than just a couple people from “Goodfellas” (1990) that made it into “The Sopranos” (1999-2007), but Michael Imperioli might be my most memorable part of watching “Goodfellas” (1990) as the poor bartender/waiter who gets shot by Joe Pesci’s character. He truly gets to shine in ways unimaginable in this show as ‘Christopher Moltisanti’! One of my favorite characters! Edie Falco, who plays 'Tony Soprano'’s wife, is what makes this show work so god d*** well! She’s the toughest person in this show by far! Seeing her side by side with James Gandolfini in a scene is like nothing else! They are magic together on the screen, whether it’s heated or sweet, or anywhere in the middle, it’s their chemistry that has captured me so in this show! From Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Tony Sirico, Drea de Matteo, Steven Van Zandt, to Dominic Chianese, and so many others, this show really has an incredible ensemble that help create the intricate and exciting universe that is “The Sopranos” (1999-2007). Not to mention all the incredible season cameos and guest stars that grace this show with their presence as well! It broke the walls of what a hero and villain could mean, giving us the first true anti-hero that we fell in love with on the television. “The Sopranos” (1999-2007) has paved the way for some of the biggest hits of today’s generation and more, from AMC’s “Breaking Bad” to Showtime’s “Dexter” and so many more! “Dexter” remained a favorite for years, then I saw where it came from and had to give my respect to the original.. “The Sopranos” may take the cake for my favorite show of all time. It warms my heart to see James Gandolfini’s son, Michael Gandolfini, taking the mantle to a degree, and getting to play a young ‘Tony Soprano’ in the upcoming prequel film “The Many Saints of Newark” (2021) which will be directed by “The Sopranos” (1999-2007) creator David Chase. The old team really is getting back together in new and exciting ways! I can’t wait!
