Formal was feeling that heavy anticipation in his soul as this episode went on...i know bc i feel the same way during this one lmao. It's tough but it had to happen. I love the detail that Tony says it's coming from his stomach and not his head, he didn't want to accept it in his head but his gut instinct told him what he had to do. Classic episode.

_Thru and Thru_ (the song featured in the final montage) was one of the few Rolling Stones songs where Keith Richards performed the lead vocals. Reportedly, Richards was delighted that they picked that one. Michael Imperioli (Chris), on his now-finished podcast Talking Sopranos, told a story that he was on a Sopranos press thing for season 3 or 4 and the Rolling Stones were in town the same day, and he was invited to the sound check. After he arrived, Richards played _Thru and Thru_ even though it wasn't on the set list for that night.

It's hard to believe but season 3 is even better and where the show really starts getting to GOAT levels, love the first 2 seasons obv...it just goes up even another notch 🔥

Great reaction. Even after seeing this episode a few times there's so many little details that flew over my head, and it was cool to see you guys spot them. A moment I love more and more every time I see it is Tony's last dream when he's in the car on the way to the hit. The pleasant picturesque image of how he wishes things could be only to be harshly snapped back to reality, such a great moment.

My favorite little beat in this episode is when Silvio goes topside on the boat and Tony has to confront him about going through with their plan. Killing Pussy was really weighing on his conscience, plus you know Pussy loved Sil's Al Pacino impressions.

Possibly the show’s best episode.

@@algerianmapper6344 “Funhouse” might be the best of the series, and “A Knight In White Satin Armor” is probably in my top 15. The season 5 finale is likely not in my top 20, though it is a good episode. Season 5 is possibly the best season as far as seasonal arc.

Going to need you two to go ahead and react to "The Expanse" eventually. It's a tough show since it doesn't hold your hand whatsoever and it pays off nearly every big and small detail that comes through the screen (stuff you typically wouldn't even think a tv show would care about). The first season is slow as they build up the world but once it gets going....it won't let you go!
