Janice holding the pistol is one of the most iconic shots of the series. cant spoil but I feel like season 2 had the best penultimate and finale episodes back to back in the show. just an incredible run with no skips whatsoever.

Exactly right and the next episode has the second best song end although it's played right from the start The iconic Through and through by the Rolling Stones but sung by guitarist Keith Richards. The best last song season finale is Cold Cuts where Tony as in the song accepts his fate and what is to come very foreboding.

They wanted Bobby to be visibly bigger than Tony so he could give him all those “get off my car, you’ll flip it over” comments when they first met…and kept going.

The most exquisite IRONY of this episode, with Janice killing Richie, is that if Richie would have FOLLOWED his OWN advice that he had given Christopher about Christopher laying hands on Adrianna, he wouldn't have hit Janice and pissed Janice off and she wouldn't have killed him!!😮 His exact words to Christopher were "once she has your name then it's none of my business" and he had YET to marry Janice so she DIDN'T HAVE HIS NAME at this point!!!❤😮 Saved Tony and Sil the trouble anyway 😅😅😅😅😅

The reason he punched Janice was because he thought the wheels were in motion to have Tony whacked so he didn’t have to worry about repercussions from him. That’s my interpretation.

The title of the episode "Knight In White Satin Armor" is from Irina mixing up two things. She is mixing up "knights in shining armor" with the song "Nights In White Satin" by the Moody Blues.

In my personal opinion, Janice is probably the most deranged of all the Sopranos regulars, only you don't really see it because of her everyday appearance and being a woman. Her mind is always focused on what benefits HER personally, at every single opportunity, and she will lie, scheme and plot to great lengths to try and turn things to her own advantage. She's completely amoral and devoid of any shred of conscience whatsoever. Unlike Tony, who is quite the antisocial personality himself, I can't think of a single time Janice seemed to show true regret or remorse. When Richie hits her, she's stunned by surprise, devastated that she was hurt. When she returns with the pistol, you see in her dead eyes her thought is, "you hurt me, now I will hurt you back - BAD." And she executes him, in cold blood. I also think the tears and the hysteria that followed is about 90% theatrics for Tony's benefit, you can see her calculate her own appropriate reaction in the moments just after the gunshots, and she's got a lifetime of practise in conning people so she's real good at it too. Next season will bring more fantastic stuff, intrigue and great amazing characters, including much more of Jackie Jr. You've got so much fun to look forwards to. :D
