I grew up around musicians and god if there's one thing I truly hate it's people sitting in a room staring at you trying to convince you that what you're listening is good music. The Sopranos really nailed that vibe of creepy attempts at peer pressure to like certain music.

Adriana/the cat keeps staring at the photo of Christopher Moltisanti because she realizes Christopher betrayed her and had her killed. Also, Tony comments the cat is probably senses a rat behind the wall. It was a rat indeed. The rat was Christopher who was wearing a wire in his cap to his meet with Phil just like the wire in Jack Massarone's baseball cap.
