Great old racetrack, and it's still basically the same track as it was when it opened in the mid 50's, other than a little run off at the end of the long straights and the bridge being removed after Canada Corner its still the same old Road America.

When i only played f1 games i thought spa was the craziest track on earth, but when i migrated to sim racing games i realized america has some crazy ass cool tracks

This was the first track I got to actually race at after moving up from Karts and man the draft here in junior formulas is NUTS!!! Such a fun track!!!

Turns 2 and 4 are corners even though they don’t look much like corners because they were required to have Marshall stands because of the blind downhills to turns 3 and 5

Good luck Romain!!! Been pulling for you all season. Honestly your the reason I've gotten more into Indy Car this year other than watching the Long Beach GP.

It’s a top 3 track in America easily. The best tracks are Road America, The Glen, and Laguna Seca take your pick as to what the order is.

Ahh yes Road America. This track and Watkins Glen are basically the superspeedways of Road Courses. Awesome tracks.

Road America really is one of the Crown Jewels of the Indy Circuit. If they were ever try to reboot the Triple Crown I would have Long Beach, Indy 500 and Road America. can't wait

I mean, if the choice is no F1 or ruining the track bringing it up to grade one I'll go with no F1. It is kinda weird they never went there in the past. Detroit, Phoenix, Vegas. Hello, real track right over here.

@@sams-pg7hj I mean it’s all really about money, they raced in Jeddah, not because the track was safe but because it paid a lot to be there. That being said Elkhart Lake doesn’t have that sort of money lol

I always think of Katherine Legge's crash in 2006 at this track. Cant believe she was OK!

Sad to know my uncle lives 1 hour away from that track, I went to visit him last year and couldn't go to that race track(I am all the way from Honduras)

Turn 12 is Canada Corner and Turn 13 is Bill Mitchell Bend. Road America is one of the few US tracks I can think of with (some) named corners.

Well it was bill Mitchell corner because of the bridge but the bridge was removed after a crash. Maybe it was memo gidleys crash. I can’t remember

And Canada corner was named because of the large amounts of empty Canadian beer and cigarette packs that would have to be cleaned from under the grandstands there after every racr

Go on Romain, be honest. You lost it on the last corner of your hot lap. Why else the fade to static? My Indy League races Road America in rf2 is this weekend and I will be very pleased to do half as well as you did. Congratulations!. That save at the end was epic. Road America opened in 1955. If I'm not mistaken, Sugo raceway opened in 1975.

Wow Mercedes pace is just unbelievable. They will have the championship all locked up next race. The moving chicane continues to be a moving chicane. First in F1 and now in Indycar.
