There are now too old to tour or play live. Maybe they will show up 2023 to promote the "Boom" film

Great performance! The Hard Way is a Kinks cover, and they play it really good, rocks! Love their sound.

These guys still rock! I remember dancing to Psycho at my school dances. Yes i was pretty drunk. lol

Psycho is such a badass song dude!!. I have drunkenly danced to it many times and i feel i become a better person every time.

I grew up with these PNW guys, The Wailers, Beachcombers, Kingsmen, Viceroys, Don & Goodtimes, and PR & Raiders back in the day. They all played at our local High Schools, Skating Rink, Aberdeen Armory and even the Aberdeen and Hoquiam YMCAs!! We listened to them on KHOK radio (Hoquiam) and on KJR in Seattle...and that was BEFORE FM came along. ;-)

Just found them a few days ago. Holy hell what a ride it is already

Thanks one more time KEXP ! The best are on KEXP ( Black Angels, Kid Congo Reverend Beat Man etc, etc). The Sonics ! Saw them five years ago in France and they turned over the gloating audience ! One of the best concerts of these past years (with Black Angels, Kid Congo...)

You are 100% correct Marc. I don’t know who the drummer is in this performance I will research but for now … I have to TOTALLY agree he KILLED it and also has a special gift only certain drummers have …. and that is ….THE KILLER INSTINCT. He just totally goes for it every song … he really drove this band as a driving force. Very good assessment Marc👍 Keep on rocking 🎶🤘

The drums, bass, vocals, and sax are all spot on. The keyboards are almost dialed in right, but need a little more 60s authenticity, same with guitar. It's not easy to get it exactly right... you might have to be a BOOMER. :)

I know what you mean, but if I saw this band playing live, I would enjoy the hell out of it. It is still THE SONICS.
