I never got they hype behind Shadow. He was OK in Adventure 2 and Heroes, but EVERYTHING after that watered down his character as just 'edgy emo' especially in his own game. I really hope they flesh him out and make him at least tolerable. I honestly wish we had gotten a movie based on the FIRST Sonic Adventure, which to me was a way better game. I really like Chaos, a originally kind creature, driven mad by the negative power of the Chaos Emerald?! Now that is interesting. More so that the (H)edgelord

I'm so glad Jim Carrey's returning as Dr. Robotnik. No one else couplay the role. And we get a new version of "Live And Learn" from Crush 40, too? Oh yeah, this movie's gonna be fantastic. Probably the best in the trilogy, and I can't wait to see it. I wonder what other sweet surprises we'll get. I hope Amy and Rouge are one of them.

I’m watching this with the boys I can’t lie

i literally CANNOT WAIT for December this year

Two _specific_ things I want from this movie: a) General Olive Garden was the soldier that accidentally shot Maria. b) The last time Ivo Robotnik (Jim Carrey) trusted an organic was when Grandpa Gerald told him he'd be back from the Ark in a few days.

As someone who had sonic as his childhood watched every movie 3 times at minimum i am HYPED.

This is probably the most excited I’ve been for a movie in a long time. Looking forward to finally seeing Shadow on the big screen this December.

I lived and learned that Jim carry is back, and that this is gonna be a banger, I will escape from the city, into the air and right at the theater, when it comes out. LETS GO 🔥

So long as sega does'nt drop the ball before the movie, this one might just have the potential to challenge Mario's record. Mario was a very good movie and that of course helped it's success. But another major component was the fact he never really faded from the public eye. Even if his games played it too safe sometimes he never had a disastrous one on the level of 06 or Forces. So his movie benefitted greatly from all that positivity, and now that Sonic's got some wins going I think that'll happen for movie 3 too.

It’s amazing how the Sonic movie franchise went from the internet’s backlash of the original Sonic design, to the redesign and fans getting their hopes up, to a hyped sequel and now very hyped third movie. It does give hope for future video game movies.

I would LOVE to hear a remix of Live and Learn play during the final battle of the film, though I'm also curious as to how they're going to adapt SA2's story, considering how DARK that plot is in the game. Interests also go to Jim Carrey's latest performance and Hayden Christen's voicing of Shadow. Overall, color me excited!

December gonna be so hype

One big thing I want is a time skip so the characters can be teenagers like in the games with reminiscent personalities. Also, it’s gotta be pg13 to allow for more creative freedom, and Shadow’s backstory alongside elements in the game deal with genocide and other darker themes so I think it’s fitting. The first 2 can be counted as debuts and coming of age films and now we can get a transition into darker tones in that famous shonen style while maintaining its comedic undertones. I was also hoping for a slight redesign in the models to be more similar to the great cgi cutscenes from the games and we seem to be getting that based on the teaser image of Shadow as it doesn’t seem to mimic the style of the first 2 in terms of appearance. There’s a plethora of good material from sa2 alone for some storytelling of epic proportions, rivaling even the MCU if delivered correctly. Also, a theatrical Live and Learn, one of the most famous songs in all of video games for that final battle will be the cherry on top. Excited to see more news.

I played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle a lot as a kid and I remember first hearing "Live and Learn" in the announcement video for Sonic in Super Smash Bros Brawl and sometime after at the end of Adventure 2. So far, this film sounds like it will be another hit, maybe even bigger than the last two films.

I'm glad to hear Live and Learn considering that the other movies were not good.
