I remember during locckdown, my school sent out weekly challenges and things to do. One of them was a competition to make a dance video for this song. I think most other people did it with their family, but for some reason, I made a video where I danced to this song with my gremlin puppet and made it look like we were singing it together as a duet. Unsurprisingly, it didn't win the competition.

Funny, I'm just now getting to the party. Like I'm aware I've heard this before, but it doesn't sound like something I've heard particularly a lot, and I'm only now putting it on a playlist now that I found the name in these comments. Why that's funny given your comment is that my life hardly changed at all in 2020. My job was considered essential and couldn't be done remote, so I wasn't isolated in the slightest.

@@richardmester4314 Nope that's not the one, it's more fast paced than "Paint The Town Red". Also it came out in late 2022 at the latest, I first heard it in fall of 2022 but then it was EVERYWHERE in 2023. It might be some other song by Doja Cat, I'll listen to some of her others.

I loved it then, and I love it now. If I hear it on the radio, the drive doesn't end until the song is over. Then again, I bailed on my hometown and became a truck driver during the pandemic, so I definitely had a much better time than most. For me, Blinding Lights represents struggle, change, and adventure! :3
