Many thanks for the information. I have a kriegsmarine soldbuch, belonging to a young lad who was in the u boats. Plus an extra photo of the chap on the u boat. Someone had done research and wrote he was transferred into the army at the near end of war. There is a red cross ❌️ on the front, i believe that means he died in action ? Any other information would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Mark

No problem at all. No red cross on the cover can also mean the Soldbuch was cancelled (and receive then a new one). Thanks for your comment.
