In addition to more deck slots, they should have deck folders. that way you can put all your versions of one deck type in one place.

Neat idea

I was hoping to hear opinions about albums including ultimate variants now.

I have all the crazy splits for Chavez. I loved old Chavez. But I knew she needed to go months before she was changed. And I was still salty about it. I keep her in my surfer list just to keep her in rotation.

The only Swan deck I ended up enjoying was Dracula dump but I really enjoyed that list, played it to infinite, and continued to win with it post infinite. Where I didn’t have success with the list was in Conquest.

Same. Won a lot of 8 cube games with that deck. Was my most successful of the month. Luckily I wasn’t running into a lot of Loki because the few times I did, it didn’t go well

I would love if Quicksilver worked how old Nozdormu worked in Hearthstone, reducing the time each turn takes, in Snap it could be crazy to see

Supergiant is my favorite card of the month. Surprised me how much I loved her, and she got me to infinite. And I think she'll still be a great tech card going forward

Annihilus is do good that I kid you not but every time I get a new card and I test out the build deck choice. The A.i always puts in annihilus and hood on it. even when I tested out on proxima midnight it added in those two cards.

If there gonna give anyone the ability to end the game early, it should be Kang. Feels like it makes sense that he has a similar ability to TVA, and would be more relevant than his current ability.

I finally got to infinite!!! I used Anni/Galactus, for most of it the regular version, but it was yours, Alex, that finally got me over the hump!!!

i play Black Swan in my Infi-Zoo deck. 8 1-energy drops (sunspot being 1 ofc and Uatu for wisdom), Armor ,Black Swan, Kazar, Infinaut. it got me to Diamond. but also im just a tier 2-3 peon

Super giant is cool but I think it just helps enable the hella discard decks even more cuz they can safely hide hella then modok final turn to win

My Loki decks are easily my favorite. The Annihlus example was spot on. Was playing an anni deck the other day and dropped Loki. Stole their anni, they had hood and sentry down and I just left the void lane empty except for black swan and on turn 6 the guy snaps me to 8, starts sending the Ms Marvel emote over and over and then I just mirror his anni with mine as they had priority and sent all his crap right back to him for the win 😂. Guy switched up to the fist bump too which I thought was hilarious.

Mailbag: What albums do you want in the game? How would you change albums in general? In my opinion, I hate that emotes are tied to them. I would rather get emotes through other methods. As far as the albums I want, I'd love to see a Baby or Chibi album soon. I like those, and have a lot of both.

Congratulations! Amazing podcast and information! A token shop guide is really important for many players having not that many high series cards. Of course, it is difficult to compare series 4 with series 5 cards, series 5 being most of the times better and providing a wider spectrum of play. My question is: what would be your top 10 series 4 cards that we could buy with half the tokens? For example, Hit Monkey opens bounce, phoenix force has seen more play lately etc... What do you think?

black swan definitely underwhelmed but falcon and black swan on turn 5 with werewolf and bishop on board and mysterio and hit monkey in hand is one of the craziest turn 5 plays in the game

Another deck black swan is great in is mooove! My favorite deck in marvel snap! Move swan is so fun and good. Being able to play swan on five with a huge torch and heimdall on six is creme de la creme 👌🏿

Mailbag: Sup guys. So I was at the gym and a random thought came to my mind: what if, with the addition of the guilds feature, we could be able to trade variants with our mates? I got the Thanos comic variant while opening caches for Cull Obsidian and would happily trade it for that Jorge Molina Ms. Marvel or the MCU High Evo. It isn't likely to happen, but I'd say it's an interesting concept nonetheless. I hope they at least let us trade boosters like Clash Royale does. Would love to hear you two's opinions on this.

Black Swan has been a great addition for the two of us who are playing Dracula Dump.

I play a lot of Thanos, Valk, Dracula Dump so I really like Black Swan.

Talking about Old Chavez with Alex is like bringing up Old Aero for Cozy F's in chat boys

An idea for "one time" variants coming back: When it becomes available again, they add a version signed by the artist to the collection of anybody who already owns it (similar to the Nick Fury variant that came out). It could even have a custom 1st Edition border style, that you can't get otherwise. The only small grumble that I could see it giving any player, is having to reroll your split again. But that's quite often half the fun anyway IMO.

I think it would be fun to have a location like "Star Portal" that replaces a random card in your deck with Chavez and draws her on turn 4.

Mailbag: How would you change the season pass plus other then buffing season caches as that promotes Agatha farming. Love the content and thanks for everything ❤

Ive had a TON of success with a strongguy dracula dump deck featuring black swan. No one really expects the amount of power you can put out

My solution to unavailable old spotlight variants: when you get a duplicate card from a spotlight cache, it should give you a random spotlight variant of that card plus 700 tokens.

Mailbag: What are your guys favorite base card variants in snap? Any card where you like the base variant over some of its variants?

You should try throwing corvus and moon girl in good decks. The potential pop off is nuts.

"We haven't seen the last from Supergiant", sure thing, same thing they said about Grandmaster. Maybe, someday, by chance or design, those cards will be good, but I'll wait sitting.

Supergiant works really well in my Living Tribunal/Hela deck. Even had a game where I was playing against a Thanos and was worried about him using Reality Stone on my Limbo so I played Supergiant turn 5 to stop that from being possible. I think she’s a good card. And there’s definitely decks that she disrupts when she’s played because they really needed things to happen a certain way.

I think part of the reason for SuperGiant's low win rate has to be attributed to its complexity. Many players just don't understand the timing on how to use the card correctly so they try it, fail then stop playing it.

Mailbag question as a follow-up to your rankings in this episode: Which do you think is the better card, one that is infinitely flexible and can go in almost any deck, or one that creates and defines a deck on its own.

Miss Minutes should do what the first mailbag question mentioned and should be a 5/0...or hear me out, what if Kang was reworked to do that.

Black swan first season pass ever that I didn't buy. Supergiant rules though I love it.

Mailbag: Do either of you have any SNAP superstitions? For example, whenever a card is randomly discarded from my hand I purposefully avoid looking at the one I don’t want discarded because I feel like if I look at it the it will 100% be discarded.

Black Swan is key in Dracula Dump, climbed up to 7,000 with it. Giver her a try in it. I promise you'll be stealing cubes!

Mailbag: I know most people think Howard stinks, but I love him and find him useful. However, if they were to change him, what if he could see your opponent's left most card? It would still give your opponent the option of leaving it in place so you couldn't see other cards. He'd be somewhat of a control card. Obviously, they may have to adjust cost and power.

Please don’t change Howard. He can just be under played. He’s great for any deck with Iron Lad and he’s perfect for my Living Tribunal/Hela deck.

You should do a level poll! Haven’t seen one in a while.

I'm still annoyed by how they nerfed annihlus. It's still great... But it's now pigeon holed into the strategy they said was the part they worry about. Now he doesn't synergize with the lesser played cards like debris.

darkhawk got nerfed after I just got him from the supergiant week, got me really paranoid about spending tokens or keys ngl

I won my first conquest by building a black knight deck around cull!

Iron Lad should 100% be higher. Very interested to see where Cozy would rank him on his own.

Super Giant is easily my favorite. Anything that controls the tempo of a game will always be strong to me.

Your talks about "starter cards" like Quicksilver or Domino had me thinking about High Evo. What if we had another card like him that revealed a 2nd ability for these cards? For example, Quicksilver starts in your hand. Every turn, he moves. Not the best ability but in line with the character and can be surprising.

I think Nico was rightly looked at cautiously pre-release. Snowguard really messed with a lot of our heads(!)

MAILBAG: Hi guys, love the relentlessly positive vibes you bring to the Snap experience. In a previous mailbag, you answered the question of what card ability you'd each have. Now that we know that, who's doing your best variant and what does it look like?

MAILBAG: What is your opinion on selling a card in the token shop and then making changes to it a short time later? Do you think there should be a certain window of time between the two? Tokens are scarce, and it could be argued that someone should get what they pay for, at least for a little while. Speaking for myself, I'm not going to be in a rush to spend resources on a token card knowing it can be nerfed a week later and intend on being f2p aside from season passes going forward.

One thing that I keep hearing you guys say that I don’t understand is how Annihilus forces the other player to play right to block The Void. I pretty much always win against Annihilus by not even playing in right lane and just focusing Left and Middle lane. It’s not like that deck is carrying a lot of power, so it’s not hard to beat by just disregarding that lane, unless you have brood or something to block it off easily.

Mailbag: Hi Alex and cozy. Because of the Valentine's Day event. What other groups of cards you think can get a benefit like that? I think having cards work off of Marvel teams would be cool Or Give a card High Evolutionary effect. So it changed the team members abilities to fit it synergy. I like to throw the guardians at the galaxy in ring

Cozy, you grew up in Texas and now live close to Mexico. Do you speak Spanish? It just seemed interesting to me. I’m a European from a small country, so I myself have to know multiple languages.

I think the only time a variant should rerun is artist spotlights, which they have done before.

Mailbag: Due to the new season being called x-men vs avengers ,do you think they will introduce a new team based versus game mode ?? I think it will be interesting compared to conquest as you can get a specific variant based on the team you choose at the beginning of the season

MAIL BAG: potential card ability 4-5 | On reveal: destroy all higher cost cards

I’m someone who wants to start streaming snap content. I’m not amazing at the game, but I get infinite every season and have stayed in the top 10% post infinite the last few months. What advice would you give someone starting out in the relatively competitive landscape of streaming?

Black Swan would be great if the deck size was higher. I’d like them to add a new game mode of 24 card decks, being able to have multiple cards in deck say a max of 3 for a single card. I know snap is supposed to be short snappy 😂 games but I would enjoy the option for longer matches. Being able to fit multiple 1 costs into a 24 card deck black swan would be fantastic. I would double the locations so have 6 in total for the 24 card deck to be played in. 12 turn games with Magik adding the 13th unlucky for some ❤

I only pulled for corvus this month. The rest seemed very skippable. Proxima is kind of decent but im not sad i dont have her.

Whats the deal with the webstore rewards? I cant find them, did they get rid of those?

Old Chavez would be good, but they could also just add SOME thing to help make playing more consistent. Like in Pokémon they have a mulligan rule, or in TFT they make it to where you have a higher chance to draw low costs in the early game.

Jeff is one of those should I really spend token on this lil guy? anytime I copy a deck he just seems pretty easily replaceable with something good enough. I mean 6k tokens is a lot and id rather spend it on something really cool or good enough to build around like Anni or Loki

Darkhawk players have to actually do set up to get him to work now. They can literally just play sera and then darkhawk+mystique. The only difference is now you can't just rely on Zabu and absurd turn 4 plays. This was for the best

Mailbag: what card animation would you like to see (or like to see changed)? I’d like to see Hulk Buster on top when you play it on a card so you can appreciate the variant you use.

I'm super surprised black knight wasn't mentioned as at least as a honorable mention. It's pinned for me currently, it gives access to its own archetype (even if Hela is there) and I do think it's super strong. Nonetheless hard to argue with e most picks in the list Mail bag: do you ever think we'll get a DC crossover/takeover?

As a new player I’m a big fan of the snap chat, I feel like I can actually follow what’s going on with the sheer amount of cards in this game

So is it best to only buy series 5 cards with tokens? or use tokens to get series 4s and try to maximize s5’s with spotlight keys?

Ideally, buying S4 with tokens is better as their both the same drop rate from keys. Although if there's a key card your missing that is 6K tokens and not in an upcoming cache it's worth picking up

It's a super hero game, it is wild to me that you think "Alliance" is more fitting than Teams. They were called superhero teams over 50 years before Microsoft Teams existed. Just wild.

MAILBAG: Why did everyone forget about Firestar? I heard she was breaking game logic, so they cancelled her last moment. Should she be reintroduced to game with new ability then? P.S. Her variants are amazing!

Purely my intuition here, but I feel confident that SD has a “shorten the game” card in their design file and that it is Miss Minutes. And that the reason she wasn’t released in the Loki season was that the players would hate her card too much. So they went with Alioth instead.

only reason why im not going ofr proxima is purely because of the other 2 cards, dont care for the modok or daken variant and to potentially waste 4 keys just for proxima seems like an insane waste

Mailbag: I'm old and wish we could zoom in on the card art. Is this a weird request?

Sadly I think SD already stated they wouldn't have a card that ends the game on turn 5 :( Also, according to Glenn, the albums will not include exclusive cards.

Mailbag: After seeing Thanos and High Evo in the top 10 to buy in the token shop, it reminded me how bad Kang is. What do you think they should do with Kang? Would something like on reveal: restart the game (without Kang) be reasonable? Or is playing essentially two games in a row an unreasonable ask? I think his ability should be time related and I like the idea of playing a deck with only 11 cards.

Mailbag: In the past you were shure they wouldn't sell spotlight keys in bundles. Now they are doing exactly that. How do you think about that now?

Black Swan DOES work on 1 cost cards that have had their costs changed by another effect, I've had a card get Baron Mordo'ed cost 0 from her.

Mailbag: How do I get more spotlight caches as a f2p player?

Mailbag: Hi Cozy and Alex, I have listened to your podcast since day one and loving it still today. I agree with most of your opinion on the podcast except the one about Grand Master. You rated it so high before the release, and then when it performed somewhat so underwhelming, you guys still rated it quite high. Now I see literally no play of it, no meta deck includes Grand Master, do you still think it good? Or is it overated?

I think Black Swan was the worst season pass card in a long time. I get all the season pass cards (only money I spend) and this one was the first time I felt like I wasted my money. I don't think I will use her much in the future.

i feel the same about corvus as alex

The thing with super giant is like they are series 5 and a lot of the cards that go with her are series 4 and 5 related more so. She doesnt provide nearly enough for an f2p having to scrounge together resources. Cull was the main card for this month ,while kinda boring, its the most braindead like oh ya buy that one. So probably plenty of players just couldnt bother with super giant. Add in anyone who likes discard / ramp there were 2 cards that at least looked good for both and even if they have 2 cards you can acquire, if you get one your likely going to argue yourself into the other (even though they dont work with each other too much lol) theyd wanna get corvus and then proxima. Idk just feel like super giant was least beneficial to f2p and even like dolphin level spending.

I love Black Swan. Helped me hit infinite with a Dracula dump deck. Helps when you’re playing things people aren’t expecting. And still got all of my discard/black swan missions done.

This one is for the mailbag: why is that every time Alex is closing out the episode, cozy looks like he has to fart 😂

You think they only prey on FOMO slightly? Not a single bundle variant has ever returned. Not a single non-beta Season Pass variant has ever returned. Not a single Infinite reward (including the coveted "Herald of Galactus" title) has ever returned. It's all FOMO!

Mailbag: Would you like to see something like a "virgin" variant of every card. Like virgin comic book covers where there is no text at all, pure art. Maybe like an option to turn it on/off or as an additional split outcome? I would really like to see something like that because some variants are ruined by the huge textbox like any Shuri, Knull, Jeff, Ronan or most of all the Abomination variant beating up Hulk but you cant even see Hulk... Keep up the great work!
