We are from south end of India.Through Malik ibn dinar we became muslims.He with King of our region build a royal mosque around 1300 years back.We now have a school and big mosque named as Malik dinar.Because of him lakhs of people are muslim now.

ameen rashid but after them khwaaja moinuddin Hassan chisti (Rahmatullah alahey) spread the Islam Alhamdulillah thank to ALLAH (swt) that he send khwaaja moinuddin Hassan chisti (ra) and he had converted more than 90 lacks peoples to Islam in India before malik ibn dinar 2 3 sahabas came and spread islam and tabaeen also came but there came a time when all of them were dead people started doing shirk and worshiping idols but later the greatest aawliyah of ALLAH khwaaja Moinuddin Hassan chisti (ra) came to india and spread Islam and converted more than 90 lacks peoples to Islam and khwaja moinuddin Hassan chisti (ra) belongs from the family of prophet means from the grandson of prophet Hassan (ra)

This made me cry like a baby...All praise be to Allah!

This made me cry in todays khutbah I haven't seen my daughter for nearly 2 months now and I could relate so much 😢

It is said that Malik ibn Dinar ( رحمه الله ) with his crew arrived at the shores of kerala ( south India ) and the king named Cheraman Perumal witnessed the miraculous splitting of moon upon their arrival ( splitting of moon was one of the miracles of Prophet Muhammed ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) ) . Upon seeing this, the king went to Madeena , visited the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) and embraced Islam .Later while returning to home , He fell ill and died in Salalah (Oman) whose qabar is still preserved there. In His death bed , he suggested that Islam should be spread to his homeland. And therefore the Arabs left to kerala and spread Islam there. As a matter of fact , the oldest mosque of India is in kerala(Trichur) and Islam reached India through sea before the mughals and sultans came through land. The qabar of Malik ibn Dinar is also in kerala. Most of the then keralites accepted Islam simply by seeing the sahabah unlike the christian missionaries who had to study the language of the people and then spread it. There is still the descendants of Prophet Muhammed ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) in kerala. Read about the history of Islam in kerala, it's really interesting. But the thing which really confused me was Malik ibn Dinar ( رحمه الله ) is mentioned as a ta'abie over here.

We should state that Malik ibn Dinar did NOT split the moon, it was our beloved prophet (SAW) . People in India would have been able to see the moon splitting (it would have been about 10:30 at night). This has been verified by Indian historical sources.

so beautiful and so sad. my son heard this story and loved it.

I can relate so much to his story and tears welled up... Allah loves us so much to not let us be astray even when it seems that we were taken away of what's important to us.. Allah knows best may we remain in his blessing till our last breath

A example that we hve to follow the right direction so that we may succeed the test and have a better life May God Help Us Succeed!!!

elk I fear that you will be in more trouble if you die without praying Abu Hurairah said to me: ‘When you go to your country, tell them that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “The first thing for which the Muslim will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be the prescribed prayers. If they are complete, all well and good, otherwise it will be said: ‘Look and see whether he has any voluntary prayers.’ If he has any voluntary prayers, his prescribed prayers will be completed from his voluntary prayers. Then the same will be done with regard to all his obligatory deeds.
