My uncle started carpentry at 8 straighting nails that were pulled from boards. He references it as a point of pride rather than an abuse. If you did the Bill Bailey backslide and tried to tell me it was the moonwalk I would laugh and laugh and laugh. Even the guy that taught Michael the moonwalk (Jeffery Daniels) didn't do it anywhere near Michaels technique. Michaels moonwalk is identifiable and a brand of it's own. Like saying the first coca cola was invented when the first carbonated water was invented. Similar, inspiring, but definitely not the same.
