Three kittens died at birth. Kiki survived with a heart/breathing problem. You owners have done a great job saving this kitten’s life. Don’t listen to any negativity from other people. You guys have done a great job helping Kiki grow.

@@jackripple5179 it's astounding in a negative way, it's never been the owners' fault. People could be supportive instead of the owners and their cats in this difficult situation. It's nobody's fault, it's just how life is, especially since it often happens to first litters. People need to chill.

@@jackripple5179 Yup, certain people think the owner is abusing Kiki by not letting her out of the box, which is false, the owner has 3 channels, one of them is delayed by a few weeks and Kiki is already out of the box clearly, she only tends to go back in the box to fall asleep. I don't get why people have to be negative or judge so quickly without doing some research

It happens to healthy animals just as it happens to healthy humans. It's so sad. They're was obviously an issue since 3 died and Kiki had health issues, but it's no one's fault. They're young, healthy cats. Now that this had happened, if the vet says it's safe to have more kittens and he decides to allow future litters, he can make a plan with the vet to help ensure a better outcome for the little family. I've never seen a reason to think he is anything but a good pet parent. Coco and Mimi look very happy and healthy. People just like to judge others. Honestly, I think keeping such a tiny kitten who has health concerns confined is probably for her benefit. It also helps know where she is and its easy to keep an eye on her. Also, most importantly, Mimi seems to be pleased with where her baby is. She's not moving her around and hiding her, she leaves her there where she can have help watching her. It's less stress for Mimi as well.

I have honestly never seen a more loving, adoring and attentive Mama cat as Mimi. It is truly lovely to watch. She is just like a human Mum - watching what her baby is doing and making sure they don't go out of sight or into danger. Coco also clearly loves his daughter too. The little mrrps and chirps are adorable too. These videos make my day brighter. xxx

Not sure if it is because I don’t exactly watch mother cats on a daily basis, but Mimi does seem like an actual mother! It’s crazy how close the similarities are even though humans and cats are different species entirely.

Cats don't do pride, or love or families. They are solitary animals. They can only live together indoors if they are neutered. If they are not neutered, members of the same sex fight and members of the opposite sex mate. Incest is not taboo among cats. It's rare in the wild because once they've mated cats go their separate ways. Cats can be kept indoors (we keep ours indoors) but they must be neutered. What is the owner doing about that?

@@tonymccarthy6713 There's a bond between mother and baby, of course. That's instinct but it won't last. When Kiki is old enough she'll be encouraged to make her own way in life while Mimi prepares for her next pregnancy. That is the life of a queen cat. They will reject each other if they are not spayed because they're competition. I don't see any bond with Coco. He's a cat and he's curious. He's a tom and he wants to mate. That is the life of a tom cat. Get them fixed and they'll make nice pets and there's a good chance they can live in the same apartment. Leave them at they are and there will be trouble. At the very least Kiki will need to be found a new home. She's already the victim of Coco's gene mutation. We really don't want her to bear his kittens.

@@tonymccarthy6713 21 is a fine old age and it's heartbreaking when they die because they are not really pets; they're family. I think a lot of the people who follow the channel don't actually have cats of their own.
