It's been a rough year. Lost my dad, a friend, and a pet over the past months, and lost myself as well. My wife just surprised me with tickets for the Miami show in June. In the past year, I’ve lost my mama, my oldest sister and 3 days ago her youngest son unexpectedly died. When my sister died, I listened to this song over and over for days. I turn 70 tomorrow, my nephew’s memorial service is in the afternoon and on Monday my partner is taking me to see The Smile as a birthday gift. I wish I could meet Thom to tell him how much this music reaches into my heart and soul!

My first listen leaves me wondering if their best days are behind them, but after repeated investigation I fall ever deeper in love with it. It's one of my favorite characteristics of their songwriting. It never gets old. And Jonny's brass orchestration on this album is sublime.

My pick of the album. Something about its mood reminds me of Sting - Shape of My Heart, yet it couldn't be anyone but Thom weaving his usual magic. I get the feeling I'll be revisiting this one for years to come.

words cannot describe how amazing this is. ive been a radiohead fan since my teens and in rainbows has always been my favorite of all time. a light for attracting attention may be my new favorite. sheer unbridled genius. completely unpretentious, organically complex arrangements by jonny and yorkes voice ages just like fine wine. tom skinner is one of the greatest jazz drummers out there right now and the three of them together is a force to be reckoned with. this is real music. this is true expression. this is beautiful
