I enjoyed this video. This guy's charm and enthusiasm is contagious. I only have one comment. If you feel like the sound of pushing this Legend is the sound of nature, then you have motor oil for blood and you sweat gasoline, a uniquely Italian attribute. I would like see Alberto in competition in one these Legend racers.

To me it feels like a cross between a sport bike and a racecar has the amazing sound of a racing superbike and shifts like one with the safety if being in a car. You should hear these on a tiny quarter mile ova asphakt teack we stay in 5th gear whole race but rear end is geared like your in 3rd so when you lift to go in corner they back fire spit blue flames out of the exaust as well

2:30 We call them "live axles" in Australia. (pronounced live as like dive) I thought these started in Australia, thanks for the correction, there's been racing series with these called Aussie Legends or Aussie Racing Cars, very exciting mainly due to the lack of width of the cars which promotes lots of overtakes each lap. There are also more modern silhouettes (bodies) available and we use FJR1300 motorbike engines, which are starting to be expensive, so MT09 would make a lot of sense.

Here in the US it’s mostly called a “solid axil” with a “locker” or “spool”. meaning the axil housing is solid across its span and both axils are connected with a locker or spool. It’s confusing as a locker or spool can also be installed in a independent suspension🏁

  • @Martin-mz7jn

I was racing in Master legends class when I was 9 on asphalt round track. If you can master a legend car you can race any type of racecar due to power weight ratio and its on a dot style tire not slicks. And ibwas racing them back in 1999 till 2005 then moved up to late models and asphalt super latemodels the only difference between two is more grip in latemodel and harder to wheel spin on restarts in latemodel easier to drive and you don't get your rear bumper and front bumper tore off on every restart ot feels like your playing bumper cars cuse they wanna get real close and tight group and they jump very easy in first gear. I turned mine into a street legal car and man I toped it out at 210 mph on GPS with some modern sport bike motor fuel injection and a few upgrades like a two step. Even have a trailer for it to tow my new 2021 inex brand new legend car to the race track with it and I still have my dad follow me with thw truck and hauler just in case undo hitch and race the new one in masters and race my street legal one in outlaw class no rules only rules are must be inex legal body and everything except motor. Must be legal motor that legend cars come with up to date but you can do anything you want to them and man they are a rocket we put sprint car wings on top of them as well in outlaw and on asphalt we don't lift at all as in the legal masters 100 percent inex legal class we have to log due to no sprint wing and no slicks and FYI if you don't have electronic shifter you can put motorcycle hand clutch lever on shifter or on a braket so you can use your hand I like it better then foot clutch cuse I got a size 14 shoe and I'm 6 foot 3 so hard for me to use clutch to shift. But now they make a dog box setup so I don't have to use clutch car is faster with no electronic shifter then car with electric shifter on avals eats up more horsepower percentage loss like 14 more percent less and also we coil bind the front end so under race speed on a oval it is like a go cart due to tires being your only shocks and springs cuse it stays locked down on the bump stops till you slow down for caution same as modern asphalt super latemodels so no body roll in mine and it wins alot of races gotta use a pull down RIG to setup front end and geometry right for coil bind to work
