    Great video! I was there mid-Nov to MTB for the first time. Even excellent video (and editing) like yours doesn't do Moab justice. The place is truly amazing and should be on every OHVer's bucket list. Next time I go I'm bringing a dirtbike. This video and your Fins & Things video are great experiences of what Moab has to offer. Thanks for making such good content - SUBSCRIBED!

    I waited 20 years to go here, I’m in Maryland just outside Washington DC , it was worth the wait, I just can’t get my dead beat friends to go anywhere, but I went out here with a dirt bike club and had the time of my life , so much fun and the scenery was unbelievable, now I want to go back , trying to find someone that wants to go, nice video

    I'm amazed with the course. Very nice scenery, very different from my home, and I'm sure the gopro doesn't make justice. Love that there is a line to help get in course for the lower skilled rider, or the less oriented ones. That is a great idea. Cheers.

    Yea... as a part time resident of Moab, you need to be super careful to follow the dashed lines. A shortcut can lead to a drop off that can be hazardous to your life. at 10:04 -10:24 is a real nemesis with the hard reversal. At 10:14 if you follow the dashed line (far left) and imagine it continuing up the face... that's a better line in my mind. You go straight up the face with speed then come off the throttle at the top so you don't wheelie over backwards. You can walk it to check it out before trying. I've found this to be easier than the reversal which is the hardest part of this ride, and most bikes dumped. Super steep and as usual the Go Pro does not reveal the true steepness of this section. This is one of the best Go Pro/Drone videos I've ever seen. Nice job! Recommend the practice loop before the main ride for a warmup. Small easy to ride bikes increase safety. Slickrock really eats your tires up. Awesome video. Thanks!

    You made it look easy and the Gopro doesn't do it justice. Although I didn't have any crashes it sure got in my head. The off camber stuff makes for an interesting ride.

    Great video! I’ve ridden Slickrock many times on my mtn bike, but always wanted to try it on my WR450F. You guys make the climbs look so easy. The climbs are a little more intimidating with pedals. I’ve left a lot of skin out there.

    Love the drone footage,I've ridden Slick Rock it seems more like a mountain bike trail it has some good scenery but not really challenging for a dirt bike at all there is much better stuff to ride in that same area but it's a good trail for beginner riders.

    Contrary to popular belief a gummy in hot rocky conditions will actually slide out easier than a stiff hard compound tire that turns soft in heat. Gummy’s just wear like crazy in the heat. But someone riding someone else’s bike usually gets confused by those things😂

  • @EverySingleSunday

    @EverySingleSunday

    There are a million different compounds of tire. A JX8 would be silly to run here but a VE33s works great and lasts long enough.

    The dotted while center area is better, also if you follow riders that ride there a lot, there are wicked nutty spots but it's actually easier, just looks scary and you can HAUL butt through slickrock. It's not an overly hard trail I dragged a guy on a GS1200 on it.

    @@EverySingleSunday it looked like the 790 would be fit for a run there! But those 2-strokes must be perfect. Do You pay a fee to enter the track or is it open? How long is it? Does it end where you start or could you tide thru as well?

    There’s a fee to get into the rec area. There’s more trails in there also. I think it’s about 10 miles, 13 if you do the practice loop. It’s a loop, you start and finish in the parking lot. Never rode on a dirt bike but a bunch on my mtb. Gita get my new dirt bike out there.

    @@timmckennie4276 Sounds great with a loop long enough to get alot of fun out of it. Looks technical fun. Many of our open enduro tracks are too demanding for a 790R and technically exhausting. Chris Birch style or go with a 300cc. 😂💪

    I would have to look it up. It’s not more than 4 to 6 miles and most people could do it between an hour or two if you were moving the whole time There are a couple lookouts and some other little spots like that you can stop and kill some time if you want to make a day of it

    Last time I was there I rode through town, down the highway and all over unplated for a week and on the last day got a ticket in town on the way to the trail head from a hard ass cop, total jerk, who even made us sit there and wait while one of the guys with a plated bike ride all the way back to get the truck and trailer to transport the unplated bikes, had to pay the fine for the ticket since I don't live in that state, so the answer to your question is no.
