@Celia Philips maximally most hindus won't even know the hymns, mostly becuase they're in a very difficult language and are very lengthy. Christmas is a very huge festivity around the world and there are many songs based on Christmas carols too. i agree to what u are saying, but the director just said that she was surprised... there's no big deal to it. Priyanka is married to a Christian so maybe that's what she was referring...

4.23 I’m not that surprised they don’t know them especially like rudolf as I don’t know if that transports to India as it’s quite a West thing, and carols and Christmas songs would be more Christian which is the minority even if it’s hyped everywhere around the world for presents. But I’ll sing along if they like rudolf ones then I should know them.

4.23 depends on what they have gone for. Are they Christmas songs or more traditional carols. Rudolf I think falls into songs but the others might not be.

because it was her decision and she takes her religion very seriously; it's not that she thinks movies are "violent" she just thinks they're swaying her from having a more peaceful state of mind (at least that's what i interpreted her explanation to be) and honestly it's understandable! she has anxiety too and people have relentlessly bullied her all across social media, dumbasses still do now, god knows why, idk how she was able to handle it...her decision to leave should be respected and you should all leave her alone. imagine, an 18 year old is wiser than all these 30 year olds on instagram and twitter and youtube who are calling her religion a "backward religion" and calling her a fame chaser...sickening. yet if someone insulted hinduism you'd be up in arms! just respect her decision and her religion, please

4.23 I don't mind an actress who did a couple of movies wants to retire at all. It's her life. Good on her. I didn't know she has mental health issues and I've only heard that she quits because her religion doesn't approve her career choice. You know when somebody choosing to do stupid things because of their religious believes, ridicules me the most . I am not a Hindu or an Indian . I am just a sane person who doesn't like this So called "peaceful religion". Because It is the most violent and stupidest ideology that ever created by a pedophile. That's all.
