New SPT Video - kzread.info/dash/bejne/oqutrsmJg9PZgag.html Well, a new edition of Tarkov released called the 'Unheard of Edition', and one of the things that it includes is a PvE mode that has no wipes, but it's priced at the ridiculous amount of $250. So they basically released a single player version of Tarkov that is behind a massive paywall. I am rather concerned that BSG will move to get the SPT mod shutdown and maybe even start taking down SPT related videos, due to the fact that you can just buy the base version of the game and install SPT to get a single player experience without getting the new edition. But what's really bad about this new edition is that it includes P2W mechanics, and it has made the entire community outraged. I really wanted to start covering Tarkov on my channel but I'm not sure if I will be doing that now. Like and subscribe for more, it means a lot.

bsg will definitely move to get spt shut down and from the viewpoint of a company and copyright holder, they even must and should. ultimately, if they do not pursue at least the more aggregious parts of the copyright violation the dpt dev team has committed, they could even lose certains right regarding their own copyright to tarkov. don't lash out against me, that's just how copyright law works.

Why do people get mad or upset at a single player mod that literally does nothing but help the game by bringing it more traffic and expanding the audience. BSG should see spt as a good thing because a lot of people see Tarkov as this hardcore looter shooter and might be too intimidated to try it out or they might not have the time to grind out the game, or $250 to drop on some DLC, but with spt and mods so many more people who might never play Tarkov but might be interested in it for the guns or whatever may go and buy it just to play spt and a modded version of Tarkov. Think about other games like skyrim or fallout and how the mods have only helped the games. Also when has me modding a single player experience ever effected anyone else. If I go and play modded skyrim and you play vanilla skyrim my mods havent taken away from your experience so why even worry about what I am doing in the first place.

Are you? 1) It’s 300e for Tarkov live online. SPT mod is free, to play Single Play on the online game we already own. 2) who are you to tell us how to play games and have fun. Go myob.

I hated the progression mod. What makes this game so fun is running around with a mosin and one tapping a fully kitted GigaChad. That possibility exists without progression mod.

it hosts a local server on your own pc it doesn't interact with bsgs servers so you won't get banned

If you mess up with the downloading and accidentally download mods in the normal tarkov folder, then run normal tarkov. If you keep your SPT and normal tarkov in the separate folders you will not get banned. The game creates a server on your device, so tarkov can’t detect it by any means possible because they are not connected in any way

What SPT? no lol BSG did that to themselves thx to the $250 fuck up for single player sealed most of their fate when people found out u could do the same not only for free but better to the point where ever since that $250 unheard edition came out so much traffic came to SPT website from people who are not gonna pay that amount for a worse veriant of SPT by officials the site basically is half offline and still currently it has so much traffic even with the site being 50% down 💀 BSG just makes it worse each time for themselves

@@liveordie197 that's not how copyright works. the crime happens at the point of taking a product copyrighted by another entity and making modifications to it without the entities consent. on top of that there is the unlicensed distribution, etc etc. what this is is a copyright violation, in terms of internet slang it's called software piracy. it does not matter if they make money with it or not or which kind of gatekeeping they include in their pirated version, the copyright violation happens at a much more basic and technical level. what it sad or not also does not matter in the eyes of the law. bsg hold the copyright to tarkov and are free to do anything they wish with it as long as they stay within the confines of the law.

@@wurstkonig3621 you do understand you have to own tarkov to play this right? you also understand they aren't making money off this right? you also understand that EFT the program now belongs to me because i paid for the software and BSG can do nothing about me modifying the game if i'm not connecting to their servers right? there is no breach of copyright or piracy happening.. what are you some kind of BSG shill that wants to scare people away from enjoying the software they spent money on without being cheated on in every other raid they try?

@@wurstkonig3621 interesting you somehow deleted the comment pointing out the fact that you have to have bought the software BSG sells to modify your own game into SPT... so please explain how and why you deleted the comment about the fact that there is no piracy or copyright because SPT is a free mod, and you have to have purchased EFT from BSG to be able to play the game. so please explain to me how it is illegal to modify a game to play Single Player while not connecting to BSG servers? if you aren't utilizing the servers from BSG and you are solely launching the game from your own hardware how would it be copyright or piracy?
