@@Regii632they haven’t said how it’ll work, but if I had to guess it’ll only work on maps where the BTR would spawn normally like streets of tarkov. If it can be dropped in customs or any map outside of factory. Would fuck the whole game up, we don’t have any way to deal with it, it would just be an invincible death machine rolling around a map.

every wipe the game becomes more and more of a grind. my first wipe I made it to level 36, next wipe was 31, last wipe was 20something. this wipe I havent even unlocked the flea yet. BSG HATES solo casuals

He dumped our money into a game nobody wanted instead of finishing the game and sticking to their promises. They laugh every time nowadays when somebody asks about the open world or physical traders, but THEY WERE things that were promised. It's okay for plans to change on a pre-release game, but they've been transparently cashing out for a long time now. But until now there were a majority of simps willing to lick Nikita's boots no matter what BSG does or how terrible of a state the game is. They can enjoy the P2W, cheater infestation and broken audio & performance I guess. I'll stick to SPT for my Tarkov needs and play other games in the genre.

This is the crux of pay to win mechanics. You can call it "pay to progress", "pay for convenience", whatever you need to tell yourself but when this type of monetization infects a game it can and will only get worse. That $250 dollar price tag needs to have a reason to buy it on par or better than what's been available in the past. Gotta make it appealing. I know people don't like the slippery slope arguments, but we're here. We're on the slope.

I would say the convenience of certain things is whatever. More stash size, the container, and more starting gear and trader rep is whatever. However the ability to call a fucking BTR is ridiculous, to call friends into your raid? Ridiculous. The Scav thing? Ridiculous. None of those things should have been added to the game. Honestly Unheard should have been 150, or 200 to put it nearly on par with EoD, and to give people a chance to jump in at that higher support thing if they so wanted. Excuse the extra 50 bucks being a “late adopter” thing. Iunno. Any number of things they could have done the release of Unheard better.

When you have monumental amounts of evidence across an industry, or historical evidence of events occurring then it’s a reasonable argument. BSG is now traveling yet another well beaten path and there needs to be adjustments to how they operate.

They will try again, and they know they effed up but not for the reasons that the CONSUMER says they did. They were too bold, too forward. It will be much more subtle next time. And slowly, over time, we'll be right back here. You want pay for advantage you're going to get it, and if you really want a fair game on an even playing field you have to accept that ANY advantage is too much. Convenience, time, progression, it's all winning to somebody at the end of the day and it's all headed the same direction.

Pudlik (lead graphic designer) and Kiba (lead animator) are so damn good at their jobs, it sucks they were thrown onto a livestream they had no reason to be on. it feels like nikita is trying to shift the blame from being entirely focused on himself.

For the calling in backup item I have a few ideas to make it less ridiculous : -Make it so you have to be high up to call in your teammates -Make it so teammates spawn in with either a weight limit / reduced raid timer / etc. -Make it so they spawn in at logical locations, not just where the player is chilling. -Make it so it takes time to call them in, potentially having to defend their location from ai and or alerting PMCS to their location. -Disable item at start of wipe for a duration to allow other players a chance to progress without getting owned.

this is a great idea until you realize that this will make it hard for the player (which seems like a great idea) but it actually also makes it perfect for cheaters, a cheater can do all this, at once. And as we all know, bsg loves their cheaters.

How do they think they can rush to complete the game. We've seen no glimpse the pieces are in place for the open world concept to even come close to working. Lightkeeper is a prime example of this, how are we going to buy / sell items while in raid. How / where will we access the stash? What happens when we die? How will the factions work and prevent killing others of the same faction. I dont think it's even gonna happen at this point

Im pretty sure if BSG had added new clothing, Camo patterns for guns, helmet and armors. they would have made more money in the Long run and wouldnt sit in a downward spiral straight for the abyss. Heck they could even have sold some new character models

They're screwed. This can't be undone. Only a 180' is gonna fix this and doing so puts them at odds with UE customers but not doing a complete reversal will eventually destroy Tarkov.

I got back into Arena. It's nice to play when we are mid/late wipe and you dont want to wear yourself down before the next wipe. Also is good for 'warming up' and Im curious to see what itll be like with tied progress, it could then be a good money maker.. but will it be balanced?

If milk that has had lactase added to it (enzyme humans have but sorts of stop producing when they don't have milk for a long time) then lactose isn't the problem. Mans released Tarkov arena when EFT isn't complete - now adding another PVE game... he couldn't manage EFT development, now he has 3 plates to spin at once so it's only going to get worse. All three plates are on fire.

The fact that after spending 150$ ( Cant remember the original price ) in 2019 for the EoD believing in the Project .. and im called a "non believer" .. for NOT SPENDING 250$ more .. is a spit on the face and something that doesnt go away so easly ..

That item to call in friends makes no sense. So what if every player in a raid uses it? All of a sudden the raid size magically quadruples?

Ironic thing about the reinforcement beacon is that it would actually help their server load in PvE, you wouldn't need to que for a new server if your friend was already in a raid. The fix is so simple, remove it from PvP.

I invested a decent amount of time in this wipe early on before burning out. All the talk about Tarkov made me want to get a couple raids in, so I hopped on for a bit. Got killed by an obvious cheater in my second raid doing 90 degree snap turns. Figured since I was just craving some action, I'd hop into some unranked Arena. Straight to the action and no cheaters. Second Arena game had a dude on the other team hip fire spamming his AS Val who's bullets would take 90 degree turns out of his gun barrel around corners and insta-dome everyone. We had to suffer through 5 rounds of that. I'm done.

I’ll say the forbidden thing because I could not care less about what Nikita has to say at this point. Go setup SPT. There’s other supporting mods that can help make it a more realistic experience or really customize it in any way you’d like, but overall it’s so much more enjoyable. I wish I had done it long ago.

I have an EOD and left the game several wipes ago due to blatant cheaters and never planned on coming back. That being said all this attention opened SPT to me and I have been having a blast again. BSG will never get a penny out of me again or any game they create next. If left to them they will **** you in the ass.

The thing that gets to me most is how he said the PVE wasn't a DLC or whatever BUT you need to buy a Tarkov package to get access to it in general.... If not DLC why does someone need Tarkov?

The only positive in this situation for me has been starting SPT and how much I’m enjoying it.

4:30 mark, thank you OnePeg for also pointing out that even the "deep pockets player" who was a true believer and paid the 250 is now no longer a believer; since in order to "make it right" BSG essentially equally screwed those folks that paid 250 in order to appease those that were upset. calling for help isnt "supernatural" as long as its a realistic entry. i mean if they appear out of thin air then yeah thats not realistic but if they get dropped of by the car exfil car or come out of one of the many bunkers or places on the map then why not
