THE SIMS 3 IS A PERFECTLY BALANCED GAME WITH NO EXPLOITS - The Sims is a Mining Tycoon Game Now???

Ойындар

The Sims 3 is a fantastically classic Life Simulator game that lets you create sims and control / direct them in their every day lives. You can own pets, work jobs and make money. How much money? Well that depends on if the player is using the infinite money exploit relating to mining and exploring caves! You see with a simple £600 investment in a mining device you can convert your Life Simulator Sims game into a Mining Tycoon and gain infinite money via a handy glitch all at the same time. So Today The Spiffing Brit sees if THE SIMS 3 IS A PERFECTLY BALANCED GAME WITH NO EXPLOITS or if the infinite money exploit is broken!
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.
So sit back relax and enjoy Turning the sims 3 into a tycoon video game with an infinite simoleon exploit!

    There's a much easier, and achieveable without cheats (unless you lack the DLC) to generate *vast* sums of money, it does however, require the sacrifice of orphans. In the Supernatural DLC, there is an item called "The Philosophers Stone". How it works is simple; drag an item onto the Stone and get a sim to interact with it for a chance to turn it into a gold bar. The gold bar isn't what we're going for however, you see, The Philosophers Stone has a wonderful side effect; it has a chance to kill the sim using it by turning them into solid gold, which leaves a golden statue of the Sim worth 50k a piece. With this in mind, how do ophans come into the mix given that you can't kill children, you might ask? Simple: The Sims 3 lets you forcibly age a Sim by one life stage by buying the "Birthday Inferno Birthday Cake" for 30 simoleons. So, adopt a child, forcibly age them into a young adult and have them repeatedly use the Philosophers Stone until they are killed and turned into gold. Sell the dead orphan for 50k, meaning a lovely 49,970 simoleans in profit for each orphan.

    I actually still play Sims 3! ... Maybe a lot. And this adventure can be improved! If you give Toby the Born Salesman trait, which will boost his sales at the consignment store (which is a large point to most broken ways to make an excess of cash in the Sims). Also for better sales, you can get the Gem Cutter (from the Supernatural expansion) out of buy mode. This removes the cost of cutting all gems, and gives you some piles of gem dust on the side that sell for an absurd amount. I've not tested it, but I think you could give Sir Cumfrence the Loner trait and have the Enjoying Solitude buff help improve his mood and counter the negative social mood? It would take longer to get the social bar to decay all the way though. I don't think the Lucky trait actually helps Sir Cumfrence, it helps with other chance based activities but not actually collecting stuff. For this you actually want the Gatherer trait, and then you will also want Sir Cumfrence to be the one to use the gem cutting machine (it increases cut gem values). Since Sir Cumfrence ultimately spends all of his time outdoors, and eventually fulfills very few wishes, he may get a better mood boost out of Loves the Outdoors over Ambitious. Since you can have very bad luck with getting what you were looking for out of the Consignment Store, I would put Eccentric on Toby, and then as a back up he can start leveling the Inventing skill so that you can guaranteed get the miner one way or another. Since the miner and the spelunking decay your sim's hygiene very quickly (though I couldn't tell how badly it did it in the video with the exploit), you could give Sir Cumfrence the Slob trait. This allows him to absolutely never bathe and suffer no debuffs from it. He will also like his burned/awful food. Other people won't like encountering him, but that's okay! He needs to stay away from them anyways! Also, if you were to end up doing inventing yourself, he would be able to dig for scrap without being bothered by the disgusting stench of himself and all the garbage. Fun video! That was a hilarious and actually unique way to make Sims 3 even more broken than usual!

    @@nathanjames5101 Sims 3 is a massive game, and unfortunately not a very stable one. My game does crash. There are a few mods from NRaas that improve stability and fix bugs, that should be a must for Sims 3. Other than that, unfortunately try to keep optional mods (hair, clothes, etc) to a minimum. Within the game, also try to not let your Sim inventories get too overloaded (use it, it's integral, just move things out of it rather than piling up), and purge and turn off the memories (do not use at all). There are a lot of things that will degrade a save over time, but these two can get bad very quickly. A couple of the neighborhoods themselves are very buggy, the most notable one is the beach/mermaid map. Check the Sims wiki for those.

Plant sims have a different set of needs, which allow you to set up a stage with sun lamps and sprinklers, a set of instruments, and have a family of plant sims all play for tips together. This ends up perpetually filling all of their needs, and they xan continue playing like this /forever/. And people will wander by and dump immense riches into your tip jar.

    My most recent exploit of the Sims 3, which I do play occasionally still, is to play as a charismatic witch character, buy or make potions which allow me to become friends with them and move in and set all the people I don't like on fire. It seems the fire spell when you use it by clicking just beyond another sim standing opposite of you, it sets them on fire. My sim and their army of green goblin children quickly took over a town by marrying the richest celebrity and then selling said celebrities house and burning their friends alive. Getting rid of the people that the celebrities and families live with is easier than making them paint in a locked basement until the end of time. Cheers.

  • @Nolzei

    @Nolzei

    4 жыл бұрын

    Creating a highly charismatic sim is probably the easiest way to make money, beyond exploiting glitches or being a genie and mind controlling people. You are technically playing the game as intended. At the minimum all you have to do is be sly, make a rich friend, marry them or ask to move in, depending on if you want to be romantic or just incredibly and maliciously friendly. I prefer the latter method as you simply move in and can then have complete control of the household you've assimilated or dare I say, colonized. I can see it now, instead of an evil goblin sorcerer bewitching the town, insert Mr. I.M.P Erial. He goes about convincing people to let him move in on their property, then slowly moves them out, greatly reduces the property value by selling everything but the essentials, thus leaving them with a run down shack and then takes over the next household. You could technically do this and earn more money until you physically own every lot in the game and collect rent from the locals you have colonized. This is even further made great as if you have the University expansion you can literally sell the dorms, as in the entire building and leave a tiny shack with bare essentials for your dorm-mates.

    Honestly, I did not know this was an exploit, but I have found out several other similar methods, where you pretty much take either a werewolf or dog sim, give them the gatherer or hunter trait, and then pretty much have an army of living drills which will find loads and loads of valuable materials you can refine and sell for massive profit- The trade offs with that are, if you're using a werewolf, they're restricted to only being able to find metals, gems, and I think bugs or something like that, but you get credit for everything you collect, which will allow you to unlock powerful bonuses such as the heart-shaped gem cut, and generally increase the value/volume of things that you find, meanwhile if you use dogs you can find all kinds gems, metals, and even space rocks, but you won't be able to get any credit for the things you collect, because it'll be your dog doing it, therefore not getting any bonuses unlocked by completing collecting journal challenges, cats are...not very good from what I remember, they're only capable of collecting/hunting bugs, animals, and other living things, which are only valuable if you find exceptionally rare ones, and even then it just can't compete with the consistency that comes with the thousands of dollars per item that you can make from refined gems, metals and and space rocks- If it counts in your journal though, you can just use this method to collect space rocks for your journal challenge, and then just go nuts with a werewolf and pack of digging dogs, since once you're done cashing in on the exploit and using it to fill your space rock collection journal, you can stop it and just start using the hunting features to find such things, as, if I'm correct, it might not matter who or what collects the space rock, as long as the one who analyzes it has the perks, you'll probably get all the benefits, and therefore will further be able to do this- Also, I wonder if this works with places like the catacombs, because if so, you may be able to make an even wider variety of loot- Edit: Also, it should be mentioned, almost all these methods, including the one in the video, require some sort of DLC, the method shown in the video by Lord Spiff himself is only available if you have the Sims 3 Ambitions expansion, as that unlocks the cosignment shop, and the mining drill, meanwhile, you can use a gem cutter to refine gems at no cost and to unlock new special gem cuts that are equally as powerful as the mist expensive, and most difficult to unlock, heart-shaped gem cut, but that is only available if you have the Sims 3 Supernatural expansion, as well, werewolves are only available in the Sims 3 Supernatural as well, meanwhile, dogs can of course only be obtained via the Sims 3 Pets expansion. It's all very separated, and can vary in degrees of complication, but generally, the more DLC you own, the more options you have for your mining operation, for example, if you don't have the gem cutter from the Supernatural expansion, you may also want to keep in mind that you may actually not be making an ideal profit from cutting every last gem, as cutting a gem with too low value with a high value cut will boost it's value more, yes, but using more expensive cuts on cheap gems will actually cause you to make less profit or even lose money, since the bonus that using more valuable cuts gives you is based on percentage, say you're using a cut that costs 500 to cut via mail, and it will boost the original value of a gem by 200% it's initial value, but you are using it on a raw gem that's only worth 10 dollars initially, then it'll only be worth 20 after you cut it with this uber expensive and valuable cut, meaning you'd actually lose 480 dollars in the process, however, if you have the gem machine from the Supernatural expansion, this math becomes irrelavent because you'll be able to cut gems for completely free, meaning that the most prestigious and valuable cuts will always turn you the most profit per gem, there are also additions made by the Sims 3 World Adventures that'll add new gems and cuts to your game, but I can't vouch for how they may or may not change this strategy as I don't own that expansion myself.
