Someone understands my pain with phones. Hate talking on the phone, people always try to make a conversation longer than what it should have been
@eruantien9932

Ngl, it's nice to hear that "normal people" don't like talking on the phone: I have a speech impediment, and it's fine when in person because people can see I'm having an issue; but when on the phone I just go silent and there's no way for people to know that I'm having a moment as opposed to being a dick, and that makes me preemptively uncomfortable.

It’s crazy that the man actually gave his first ever media interview just a few months after this video was posted.
Speaking of talking on the phone, I don't like telemarkerters, but I've found it's damn fun to just mess with them and joke around. Cause I figure they're either A, forced to do this job because it was the only one they could get, they hate it and at least this way they'll get a funny story to tell their friends. Or B, they actually like what they're doing and so deserve to have someone take the piss out of them. My favourite so far was the lad who clearly read from a script, so I said, in an Ingmar Bergman impression "No, no. Cut, cut, cut. For fuck sake. I can hear that you're reading from a script. We need authenticity here. We need emotions. Pretend I'm your mother. I'm sick and you have to make me take my medicine. Pretend the thing your selling is the medicine and..." I didn't get to finish cause the guy hung up.

He wrote so many of the most famous episodes, has hardly ever been seen, most ppl think he's fake, maybe he has a big part in the whole"time travel/predict the future" thing
I like how you can tell how uncomfortable he is in the picture...
One of my favourites lines is in the gun episode, when Marge is unhappy about Homer having a gun, prompting Homer to say: "All I'm asking is that you come to ONE gun meeting, Marge, and if you STILL don't like it, we'll argue some more"

The thing about phone calls is that the quality is such absolute shit, that I can barely understand what the hell the other person is saying. And yet most people would rather have a 30 minute phone call, where I repeatedly ask them to repeat themselves, instead of sending a single goddamn email.
