when I was a kid my dad had this game on his ipod and I played this game countless times. it was my entire childhood. that ipod was stolen back in 2016 with countless other possessions. I still think about it up to this day

I think it's hilarious that they have you beat up a bunch of characters that are normally not that bad (like Sideshow Mel and Bumblebee Man), but they leave out actually villainous characters like Sideshow Bob, Snake, Fat Tony, etc.

This is a _very_ acceptable sequel to the arcade game! It has a nonsensical plot, it has Homer beating up hired goons, it has throwbacks to the original game (such as the power-ups and the last couple bosses), and it plays pretty darn smooth! If this was still available in my region, I'd definitely buy it!

For everyone Who don't knows,the squeeky voice teen's name is Jeremy Freedman.

Calling it "The Simpsons Arcade" was rather naughty of them imo. It implies that this is going to be the exact same game as the 91 konami arcade one (which it isn't). Still, looks pretty cool regardless.

I think that was the point. It got my attention when I was younger because I thought it would be the original. It's good for what it is. Like a spiritual sequel of sorts.

I remember playing this as a kid and I remember how I COULDN’T get passed Bumblebee man

I like how they fall flat on the ground.

I'm falling asleep 27 minutes in, and I notice that this game isn't even 1/3rd over yet!

I love when they are down there faces go from angry to even more angry.

Yeah it looks like the original art was designed for Java phones (pixel art), then they used a tool like Flash to draw over those assets, so it gives this game's art a stiff feeling, not as fluid or cartoony as the 1990 arcade game

I remember playing this on my iPod Touch. Came so close to giving up on it, but I pushed through, and I'm glad I got to beat it a couple of times before it got delisted.

This playthrough of The Simpsons Arcade Mobile is outstanding. I wish I could play that game myself, but it seems rather hard to do since it’s no longer in the App Store.

The pixel version for Blackberry and Java phones is easier to access, but yeah it doesn't look as good as this.

This seems like a watered down version of the early 1990's arcade game with pretty poor quality sound, but it sure beats all the early computer ports from the early-mid 1990's.

I remember this first game I played in my iPod when I was in high school I would usually stay up late or play this in lunch time in my high school years lol yup I beat this!

I remember doing this but it was with Mr Burns boss fight, the entire time i realized Mr burns didn’t have to hit the battery the entire time, I could’ve just hit it and knocked it towards him.

Problem is, it is the inferior post-2014 version that removes some level, confusingly adds levels from the full version and places an add-wall to unlock the rest of the first four chapters. 1.4.1 and 1.5.0 are the essential versions for the original experience of these "lost" maps

@@Lechugas I dont really know since i dont have a proper iPhone, iPad Or iPod Touch. Try searching on YT a tutorial since i saw one that you can install ipas without a pc or jaibreaking. I may get an iPod Touch 4 to play many games like Rayman 2, Driver, CBNNK3D, etc. If i get one i would do a tutorial on my second channel of how to install ipa games.

Until someone figures out how to emulate iOS software on regular PCs, it really is lost to time.

I know the show is not suitable for kids but the videogames are completely for anyone.

I have the game installed on a iPad Mini with iOS 7. I've searched for years on how to run this on other platforms but iOS emulation is a tough nut to crack.

When the white and brown ones are hit they show there teeth with an rrrr face.

How do you still have this it went unavailable on the App Store

It's tricky, you'd need to have an iOS device with iOS version 7 or lower to still be able to play it.

Wish this game would come back. I have it in my purchased list including an iPad on older software. But when I look on the iPad, note it’s on my iCloud account, I don’t see the game. Whilst when looking on my phone it’s there. Either way, I can’t play it.

Unfortunately, if you want to run it on a native Apple device you need to have a compatible device with iOS 7.1.2 or below. I keep an older iPad just to make sure I can still play these old games.
