About Gold Shaw Farm: Gold Shaw Farm is more of a farm-in-progress than an honest-to-goodness farm. Our dream is that someday we are able to transform our 150+ acre parcel of land into a regenerative and productive homestead and farm.

Me, sitting here expecting 75 degree weather for the day, wondering when we should put our chicks out on the grass and stops because, "Oh, there's a new Gold Shaw video!" Sees the snow and sadly laments that some people still get to have winter. Good luck with your hatching, because it totally is an art. The moment I saw the colorful chicken saddles, I started to laugh out loud. Because in my mind I was seeing a the snow covered ground being trampled by a flock of chickens dressed like old men in Hawaiian shirts. I just couldn’t stop laughing and the mental image won’t go away. I can’t wait to see the video. (And yes! I am planning to send it to all of my old male friends who collect Hawaiian shirts. It would be even funnier if the waddling ducks were wearing them. Then they would really look like my friends.) 🤣😂😎

"Hatching your own birds is an art, not a science." So true! Just hatched our very first brood two weeks ago and now we are onto our second. Incubator is operating wonky this time around though. 😖 So definitely have to be vigilant.

Wow, Morgan winter still has a grip on you. Down around Concord & Hillsborough New Hampshire we are clear of snow and the lake ice is gone. Getting busy scratching around the gardens, done boiling maple sap. Hope you thaw out soon. 💉💉👍🦢🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚 ...... Would love it if you did a spot about the flag from Iraq with the soldiers story . Soldiers serving in wars have always enjoyed hearing and seeing photos and news item from Vt/NH/Maine. Especially when it comes to winter activity's, fall colors, farm life that waits for their return home from theaters of war. Please share the story. That flag deserves a very special display treatment 👍🇮🇶🇺🇲
