500mm f/2.8 and that too in a zoom lens. That is some incredible glass and hard work in manufacturing it.

If you want even more: Leica made three 1600mm 5.6 lenses.

This is the perfect setup for travel photography

Lumix's image engine is on a whole another level. Also the UI is snappier and better looking than the rest. Extremely happy with my GX85.

For street photography tou might want to switch to an alternate ghillie suit - one using trash instead. Blends in much better in most urban areas (sadly enough) There are some nifty videos here on KZread, a sarch for trash ghillie or urban ghillie should deliver.

@@zahnatom I already told the guy above he has a good point.. But if you really want a long lens and don’t want the bulk, get one of those mirror lenses.. You can get an 800mm lens that’s a third of the length and probably 1/4th the weight.

The problem is that one needs a justifiable low-light situation to use the f/2.8 (e.g., fast moving objects in low lights). Otherwise, the high ISO performance of the modern cameras would really make such large aperture obsolete.

When I was a projectionist, our then only digital projector was having a problem with the lens assembly. A Barco tech came out when I was on shift and pulled the entire lens assembly out of the projector and had me hold it. His only words were "don't drop it". Lens is for a 35mm camera The gm1 use a 4:3 crop sensor. So really you do not use the full lens but a part of the lens
