You were asked not to record because these guys were selling counterfeit goods which is illegal in the UAE. The designer items are also cheap because they are counterfeit. If police raid the shop while you are in there, you can be charged for trading in counterfeit goods.

I’m not surprised, they were very shifty, I didn’t know you could be charged though

@ Nothing about neither Dubai nor the golden appearance of the stores or the items therein interest me as much as your beautiful and natural Black Beauty. With a woman like you by my side permanently, who needs all those material things that can barely make anyone happier
Girl this flat would be advertised as "modern" and "newly decorated" in the UK 😂
Hey girl, as someone who's grown up in Dubai I would advise you to not talk about the red light district if you're planning on living there, it's quite common to get deported or banned from visiting the country for openly talking about indecent things or painting the country in a bad light. It's not great I know : ( but it's better to be on the safe side.

I know that a lot of Emeratis do not like seeing foreigners in their country..what do you think would be the future of Dubai when the current leader is no longer in charge. I doubt if that country would still be friendly.
So is like. Brooklyn but they only showed manhattan on tv. But brooklyn bronx and queens are the underground cities 😢😢
@MCMB0627
Ай бұрын
More like the Bronx, Brooklyn and then Queens. Queens is pretty decent and surpasses both the Bronx and Brooklyn in quality of life. However, Dumbo in Brooklyn is like the new Manhattan. Williamsburg and Park Slope is pretty expensive as well so Brooklyn is taking the lead. Gentrified AF!
I visited Dubai last year and I wish I had more time to visit Deira. So interesting and I’ll add it my list of places to visit next time I’m there. Thanks for sharing.

@it's really easy to get jammed up there. It's not the USA or Europe or even Japan. They make up the law as they go along. Trans have been detained at the airport for 12 hrs. No food. Then put on a plane and sent home. This was because their appearance didn't match the sex on their passport
Thank you for showing us this side of Dubai!
I also had random cars slow down when I was waiting for a taxi or going for a walk in JVC it was very creepy and disappointing. Even taxi drivers who would ask where I was going, just overall a very unpleasant experience.
Been to Dubai and Abu Dubai many times, much prefer Abu Dubai.. Great place👍
Go to Africa and try their cuisine. You’re very lucky and blessed you live in Europe. Take trip to Nigeria slams, eye opening 😢
you have an excellent future ahead of you --- your style and character will change the right people in the right way -- best wishes
A friend of mine lived there for a few years. I’m shocked you walked around with that type of shirt there. Wow. My friend wore loose linen clothing because anything tight fitting brought too much negative attention. My friend is a white collar worker.

Excellent video. I enjoyed it and I learned a bit about Dubai.
Gurl, i hope you are back on safe turf now. Whooosa!

My favorite part of Dubai. The locals were very good to us.
Always two sides to every coin. Very Interesting.
Dubai has trained people to allow themselves to be under surveillance 24/7 and believe it's called safety. Since when has a camera kept you safe? This world is truly f'ed.
Wait until you See the other Side of NY. London and Paris
I was teaching in Tajikistan and needed sinus surgery and so ended up in Dubai. It was not a destination spot for me, I've always considered it "the mecca of materialism". One of the first things I noticed was that everyone in the service sector was from Nepal, the Phillipines, India, etc. locals were few and far between. I wish I had done more research and known about Deira--it seems culturally more interesting!
Im always in this area every time im in Dubai Souk Dahab
U are very pretty and has great verbal skills.
Awesome video 😄 I just posted my experience about this place too 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Oh awesome!
You talked about the lady skilled in sewing, that she came to Dubai into a building with sex workers and she does not know anyone, her consulate and embassy is there to take care of her. Just some advice before coming to Dubai contact your consulate or embassy ask them for a mobile number of an embassy worker in case of an emergency, never go inside a residence upon your first arrival. Check into a low cost hotel and do your homework ask to first see the business in operation, ìf they claim to have a tailor shop first go to the tailor shop ask the worker there to contact the owner to confirm you will work there. You couldn't find a taxi because buses are cheap and available. You know that standing could be misinterpreted that you are a prostitute so walk around till your taxi arrives. Stray cats near the entrance of restaurant means that restaurant is feeding them Customer left over.

Dubai class system? Dubai has 5 or more classes of people ? 1- The ruling family + the other gulf states ruling families who live in Dubai. 2- The super rich of the world, including mafia and money launderers. 3- The citizens of UAE. 4- The servants. A- High class servants. B- Middle class servants. C- Low class servants. You are filming in the low class servants neighborhoods. Thank you

Bitcoin is on its way to breaking records, getting closer to hitting new high prices, showing that it's gaining more value and could go even higher than we've seen before. This could mean great things for people looking to invest, suggesting now might be a good time to get involved before it jumps even higher. It's an exciting moment that could change the game in general...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.1Blitcoin to a decent 11.4Biitcoin. At the heart of this evolution is Samantha Jack , whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Her holistic approach to investment and commitment to staying abreast of market trends make her an invaluable ally in navigating this new era in cryptocurrency investment

Abu Dhabi is the best place to live. Dubai has its good and bad. That’s everywhere you go. The country itself it’s 💯 safe………..
That part of Dubai isn't for us or ex-pats :) not talking about the red light area but old Dubai in general, it's pretty old they haven't done much work on their infrastructure since then, they rapidly changed other infrastructure in other areas in old Dubai or new Dubai hence the rent is cheaper there more or less things aren't flashy or expensive there :) this country is lovely if you look into other aspects of it. And red light area or workers we don't talk much about it glad you showed but in Dubai we don't care.
