All the math on the longer bank can be a bit more simplifed. For example 7x4 is 28 and then take the remaining .05 and just say 7x5 = 35 so its 3.5 when you add the disimal point. Then just add 3.5 to 28 = 31.5 for the bank shot position. But I had a thought. It might be worth memorizing what certain shots do that are a bit more apparent because they line up with either the diamonds or they are between the diamond. And if trick shots can be done with them then it would be more interesting for the viewers and you can link the system videos for those who are interested. Also perhaps certain shots can be made by alteration of lower english which can possibly simplify 31.5 into something like 30 or 31 possibly or perhaps 4.5 could be simplied to 4 when you use a slower shot with high english and perhaps a tip of inside english for example. Faster and low shots will shorten rail shots often and high and slow shots will broaden the arch of the shot. Inside english or "spin" towards the ball can change the point you hit on the rail. This could be important because if the system is improved then it will be even more valuable I think. Also just want to mention it is best not to put words on the screen covering what you are talking about.

Thank you much for this! My whole aim and purpose of using the math is and was to simplify the kicking! The extra layer of spin using high or low fast speed or slow speed and even making the whole math more complicated as you know people don’t really like what they don’t understand was to give them a approachable method to kicking! I knew after making this video that many would be amazed by it but will still use feel and judgment! My hopes was someone would actually use it to their benefit! Whilst I understand clearly the simplicity that you are explaining the other players may not even be able to multiply while under pressure! But from my point of view I appreciate the explanation! It’s already complicated with math let’s keep it at that

@@apexpredatorbilliardstraining your video found me 😊 … I truly appreciate you sharing how the center-5 Diamond system helped you. As for the Sid system, I learned it from a diagram I done looking through systems used for 3-cushion billiards (❤️ that game). Maybe about 3 years back I got further instruction on this system from Anthony Beeler and another dude’s video on the system. Boom, expanded my knowledge. By the way, I totally can relate to what you said about why you kick at a particular Diamond to make a ball and now having a system to explain the why. That’s how I felt about the corner-5 system until I learned 3-cushion basics; that’s when my why was answered. Keep posting, we’re all in this together. Speaking of that, I was competing in a tournament last weekend and showed a guy this system. Blew his mind. He said and I quote, “the system works!”

@@apexpredatorbilliardstraining I am a decent player and a lot of kick shots I can get intuitively. But then there are some that I don’t. And that’s when systems that you are teaching can get me into the area I need to be shooting at, then I can intuitively feel the shot. Once I can feel the shot, I now “ a lot “ of times can decide on which side of the object ball I want to hit. Once again great stuff, taking us deeper into the knowledge of this great game we love.

Seems like a good system. But when you shot the 4 x 3 and missed the shot. I made my own calculation and I called your 3 spot 2 instead. I counted the inbetween rail and first diamond as 1 then 2 for the first diamond on the short rail. So the spot where you had the ball at seems actually like its actually 2. Because 2x4 is 8 . If you aim top then you are widening the shot so thats when you would aim it a bit less you hit low to shorten it. I counted the first pocket as 0 then 1 and then the diamond 2 then next diamond 3. But if you want it to go a bit more in then use low or inside english towards the cut angle. (Left spin in your example). The spin can make the difference if its frozen to the rail to continue rotation and ensure the ball transfers spin to the object against the rail. I think no reason to go half numbers unless it lies between the 0 and 1 for example which is 0.5 and so on. Try it without the half amounts first and maybe it improves an already great system and makes less math also. Lets say i count the between the pocket as 1 and the diamond as 2 then keep counting until i get to the pocket on the short rail as 8 at the end. Then i count the first long rail diamond as 1 and next 2 and 3 and 4 like your example. 4 x 8 = 32. If you count the other side of the table 10 inbetween the pocket then 20 on the diamond 25 inbetween and then 30 for the second diamond then your first example shot is only 2 digits off with the math of my result being 30. The top english increases the angle and makes up for the difference. Let me know the result if you like this and thanks for making the video.

Appreciate your observation and it is duly noted! Just a quick reminder in my experience first you kick to make contact and if you are playing well feeling good and the calculation is spot on then making the shot is inevitable! When you begin to over calculate to make exactly the shot then another variable in the kick equation maybe overlooked so hence I always encourage my audience to kick to touch and the bonus is to make the shot! But I will definitely review your observation and make adjustment in my upcoming redo of this video

Moving the CUEBALL towards the center of the table will require you to use line projection back to the rail. It a little difficult to explain through text a video would make more sense or a video call but believe me the system works every time

Yes it does my friend! It doesn’t matter where the ball is! You just have the pick a value on the rail and project a ball through it! It’s more practical though when it’s near the rail there is an another system for that! Check out my other kick system videos

There are various types of system for that such as the trapezium kicksystem and the parallel midpoint system + more. The main purpose of the syd sys is for kicking at OB near the rail like in the video but it can be altered but it's a little harder...check out the trapezium kick on my video catalog ok

Parallel shift is a useful tool whenever this happens so to make it simple find the nearest standard track line that is easy to multiply and then apply the parallel shift.... I am gonna leave a link to a part 2 that I have done in my next comment... Maybe that video will give a little bit more clarity as well ok!

His system is very complicating, it is easier to remember this way. lets start from 1 on the rail where the q ball is, half of 1 is 1/2 on the opposite rail. If you are at diamond 2 the opposite rail number is 1 , if you are on diamond 3 , half of 3 is 1 1/2 and so on, say you are in between diamonds, example, the q is on the 3 1/2 diamond half of 3 1/2 is 1 and 3/4. if u are on 4th diamond half is 2, 5th diamond 2 1/2 , 6th diamond 3, 7th diamond 3/5 and 8th diamond 4. I use it all the time and it works only if banking it the ball on the opposite pocket.

Based on the type of table, cloth and rails adjustment is highly probably and that must be accounted for... It will work yes that's a start but when the cueball is inside or outside the track line or in a double kiss zone then that may be not be a solution

when you play official tournaments you cannot apply this kick system because of the following reasons: 1)there is limited time due to the clock 2)the cloth conditions are different 3)rails react different on each table When you don't know how to stroke well every system is useless. Sometimes you shoul kick with center ball, some other times with high ball or low ball to generate different angles The best system is to learn where to hit and how to hit something that comes with experience and lot of practise

  • @apexpredatorbilliardstraining

Hey Christos.... You actually make a good point and this is one of the issues that alot of the players in my country has a problem with and that's the calculation ability.... Now when I am playing I calculate but the calculation occurs subconsciously because of how long I have been playing and how long I have been using the system... The system is used mainly in practice so that when you practice it so much it often becomes second nature and most times it's just a little adjustment is required so I literally take 10 secs of less to make the correct called especially if you are playing God and feeling good it works like magic trust me when I tell you the system is necessary and essential Next alot of times you have to have a base knowledge of the bench mark 1 2 3 4 & 5 rail kick on various types of table and that a players responsibility.... Some tables need a little spin others don't but for the most part most if not all tables will require a hair of spin to self correct the angles coming off the cushion and this also is another issue often time players wat h and learn and never do their own investigation I am gonna make a video for bench mark kick system out look out for it

  • @apexpredatorbilliardstraining

I make these video not because I want to show how I can play but I really want to show alot of players who have gone off in a different direction with false knowledge they have been expose to. A system reduces the margin of error when you are kicking and it allows your natural subsconscious ability to kick at a ball to be more comfortable and confident. Calculation initially will be boring , difficult pointless and time wasting but giving yourself a higher percentage of making a legal contact with the OB warrants you more success ... Don't think about the fact that system takes time think about how useful the system can be to reduce the margin of error with all those other variables that you mention above ok.... Thanks for your comment it's greatly appreciated
