    @@christianhealthylifestyle 1) Oreo cookies (carbs) lower LDL cholesterol better than statin medicine for a unique group of people who are unusually trim and are on a keto (low carb) diet. Since we all agree that eating Oreo cookies is not healthy, your argue that lowering LDL cholesterol might not be a good thing. If you can't see the illogicality of that inference, there's nothing more I can say. 2) A study showed that 75% of patients hospitalized for a heart attach had LDL cholesterol levels below current national guidelines. So you ask, "Why do people with low cholesterol have more heart attacks then people with high cholesterol?"" They don't! Read the article. It's point is that the _guidelines themselves_ are not low enough! But I will give you one thing, I had not seen this UCLA article. While my cholesterol levels are within those "guidelines," now I'm going to give that a second look. Either you are not understanding what you're reading or you're just misrepresenting it. The Bible _will_ do that to a person. Truth becomes whatever you want to make it.
