Why is Vegetable Oil in Everything? | The History and Corruption Behind Processed Oils

Фильм және анимация

Are vegetable oils bad for you? Vegetable oils like we know them today simply did not exist a century ago and now they are everywhere. It seems the more of these industrial oils we eat, the more unhealthy we become.

Avoiding these oils from our own part is a passive move. We should demand and protest companies remove them and go back to traditional saturated fats. As a truck driver, although Im not over the road anymore, I had no choice but to eat crappy truck stop food filled with these oils for years. It’s simply not fair. THEY must stop. Not us

@@Mark.Watson Avoid anything processed. Sauces, cooking oils, mayo, margarine, butter that is anything except made from milk only. Cheeses that arent made from milk only. Goes without saying anything processed and packed in a plastic bag is a no go. Only buy raw/whole foods. That means no minced meats, sausages, cured, smoked meats etc. Only whole cuts. Cutting out all that junk still leaves you with a huge variety of foods. Red meats, chicken, fish, dairy, eggs, vegetables. Only animal fats and butter if you tolerate lactase. And no, junk food isnt cheaper than healthy food. First of all junk foods are empty calories that only ruin your health. So even if youre spending 1.5 to 2x for good food youre saving your health and you can eat half as much and still get the nutrients needed to more than thrive. Making the cost overall the same. Only people who might spend more are people into body building pretty much, as they need to eat 1.5 to 2x more than avg person.

As a kid growing up in the 60s and 70s, margarine was everywhere. I never saw butter, and most of the folks I knew wouldn't touch butter, much less lard, tallow, etc.. And it’s funny to see the contrast of the countries the U.S tried to criticize for consuming saturated fats, such as Malaysia and the Philippines where heart diseases were drastically lower if not almost non-existent. Best evidence is to see how healthy the people are and look at their food choices and life styles. People can blabber about all they want but at the end of the day if you’re overweight and have a ton of health problems you need to look objectively at your life choices and what your country is feeding you.

I have done a lot of research and am very surprised at how completely unambiguous the studies really are on this topic. There is no debate here. Thank you for this, and for trying to help people!!!!! My wife found some videos on seed oils a few months ago. I quit eating chips, and other things with seed oils. I started checking the ingredients in everything I bought and realized that 99% were using seed oils as fillers??? In all products??? I thought I was doing something healthy by eating salads every night. Then I realized all the dressings were 90% seed oils. Couldn't understand why I didn't lose any weight??? I cut out the seed oils, and I've lost 20 pounds in 2 months!!!! And I thought I was already thin??? I was 5-11" and 168 lbs, and went to 148 lbs just cutting out seed oil foods. I was in shock because I thought I was thin already!!!! But weight is not the most important thing, I can't imagine what those toxic oils were doing to my health overall??? My sleep is better, I have tons of energy, and feel like my brain is firing twice as fast. I'm just at the beginning of my no seed oil journey, and I can't wait to see where it takes me!! I eat tons of cheese, and cook everything in butter mostly, some olive oil, and lard. and I keep losing weight. And I eat a ton of whole wheat bread, and pasta. This is insane. Everything everyone says about health should be questioned. You just need to experiment for yourself. But I agree with this video. STAY AWAY FROM SEED OILS.

Three days ago I ate some fried chicken (a lot) and the next day, I noticed my knee pain come back. I asked my father-in-law, who lives with me if he noticed his “arthritis” pain. He said yes, he felt the tightness in his hand. I knew then that consumption of this oil was causing our inflammation. Fried food is NOT the problem. I make French fries at home and other fried foods every once in a while but I use beef tallow and I feel no pain. It is the oils. Most restaurants are using the cheapest processed oil.

Cus they for sure use these poison oils to make ther food. Although I don’t eat often outside. This is crazy how the creed and money for the big companies are everything, they don’t care about your health. Literally don’t give a damn ass . Sick people are good for big pharmacy also.

I think we got them late in Oz: When I was in my late teens, I went into a supermarket and saw all these bottles of oil lined up on the shelf, "where did they come from" I thought. It was the late sixties and it wasn't long after that, I noticed a young woman walking in front of me with her tee shirt resting on her hips and wondered how could she let herself get like that. She wasn't fat by today's standards of course.

I cannot emphasize enough how this information changed my life.. Seed oils had been poisoning me until by age 65 I was loosing my strength and suffering arthritis and joint pain. Vitamins A,K and D3 are essential fat soluble vitamins that cannot be picked up into your bloodstream without saturated fats in your diet. Pass this information along wherever possible. Will the FDA ever take on an honest caring approach for the American and world populations?

I worked for a machinery company that often did business with a Crisco plant. That plant was such a foul-smelling, disgusting place. Once that oil "dried" it was like glue, and very difficult to clean from our machinery. To think that people consume tons of this vile substance -- _and think they are eating healthy_ -- is mind-boggling.

Just cook everything in butter, ghee or beef tallow to be safe. And good luck finding a restaurant that doesn't use trash oils.
